backThe Country window can be accessed through the
Countries icon available from within the
Settings module accessible from the
Dashboard.
By default, an entry is created for
United States. This entry can be renamed to anything you'd like to it to be; however, it is configured to operate using the U.S. Postal Service formatting rules. The name of this country type will be visible when entering addresses throughout the system.
The following formatting rules are supported:
- United State
This format rule provides for street address, city, state and postal fields with requirements as defined by the United States Postal Service for addresses within the United States of America. (Default) - Canada
This format rule modifies the system to support addresses using the requirements defined by Canada Post. - Other
This format rule pretty much removes any formatting rules providing for "free-form" fields that can't be validate in any way as being correct. (Not recommended.)
To add support for an additional country type, you can use the
New button on the
Countries window.
Enter the name that you'd like displayed when entering/modifying an address throughout the system.
Select the formatting rule that will be used when selecting this country type as part of an address throughout the system.
To modify an existing address type, you can double click on an existing country type in the
Countries window.
