Automation System: MediaTouch
<div id="Text"> ==MediaTouch== [Automation_Systems|back] ((('''WORK IN PROGRESS''' - Please understand that we are actively rewriting much of our documentation and this page is currently "under construction"; if there's anything that you'd like to see added to and/or expanded upon, please let us know by [SendSmile|sending us a smile].))) ===Introduction=== RadioTraffic converts to a specific MediaTouch log format. ===Station Configuration=== To configure RadioTraffic to work with MediaTouch, you will first need to modify the station configuration to utilize MediaTouch as the automation system. In the administration module, open 'Stations'. Select the station you want to configure and double click. Once the station configuration is visible, select the 'Files' tab. Select the 'Product' to MediaTouch using the drop down selection tool. The 'Automation Log Path' is where RadioTraffic will export the log to, so set this to the file system folder that MediaTouch will pull the file from. The exported file name will be formatted as yymmdd.TRF. ===Cart Numbers=== RT fully supports MediaTouch's four digit alpha-numeric cart number requirement. ===Categories=== MediaTouch requires categories to be configured in RT and these categories must be three characters in length. ===Automation Commands=== Automation commands are currently exported in the same manner as spots. ===Log Notes=== Log Notes are currently not exported. ===Programs=== Programs are currently not exported. ===Avails/Breaks=== Avail markers do not export and are used strictly inside of RT as a means of scheduling. ===Log Reconciliation=== We also support automatic log reconciliation for the as-aired logs. To configure this feature, you need to determine where these files are located on your network and use that path to configure the "Aired Log Path". The filename to import should follow the yymmdd.OUT naming template. We currently only support the .OUT (directly created by MediaTouch) and not the .CSV (which requires user interaction to create) version of the MediaTouch as-play logs. ==FAQ== ((('''TODO''' Add any questions as they come up to this section.))) ==Additional Information== For additional documentation concerning working with playlists files in the MediaTouch system, please refer to the MediaTouch documentation on the subject: * [{UP}MediaTouch%2fHow_to_Create_a_TRF_File.pdf|MediaTouch TRF, OUT and CSV Specifications] </div> <DIV class=transcludedpage> <div id="Side">{toc} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} </div> </div> <SCRIPT type=text/javascript> var navItem = document.getElementById('ManualTab'); navItem.className = 'active'; </SCRIPT>
