<div id="Text"> ==Proof of Performance== [Client45_Premier|back] ===Introduction=== Proof of Performance (PoP) is a spot times report pulled directly from the traffic database. The report is electronically sent to selected advertisers and agencies to show what time their spots have run and/or are scheduled to run. In addition, you have the ability to add marketing messages to the report. You can access Proof of Performance by going to RadioTraffic Dashboard>Marketron Logo>Proof of Performance. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark01.png]</center> Clicking on the Marketron symbol will show a drop-down after a few seconds. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark02.png]</center> Click on Proof of Performance ===Set up Proof of Performance=== To begin using Proof of Performance, you will need to select your participating stations and set up your report email preferences. ===Participating Stations=== On the Exchange PoP Service Settings screen, select the participating stations for which you would like to send Proof of Performance reports. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark28.png]</center> (((TIP - You can determine if the Proof of Performance service is running by observing the Pause icon in the top left-hand corner of the screen. The Pause icon indicates the service is running. Clicking on the Pause icon stops Proof of Performance. The Resume icon indicates the service is not running and needs to be resumed. Clicking on the Resume icon starts Proof of Performance.))) ===Default Messages=== To set up default messages for Proof of Performance, complete the following instructions: 1. On the Exchange PoP Services Setting screen, click on the Default Messages option.{br} 2. On the Email Options tab, populate each field with the default email options that will be used when sending Proof of Performance reports: (((NOTE – The default information can be overwritten when setting up specific PoP reports.))) A. '''Sender’s Email Address''' – Enter a default email address for the sender. If possible, this should be a generic email address. This field is limited to 255 characters.{br} B. '''Subject Line''' – Enter a default subject line. It should be a generic subject line that applies to all recipients of Proof of Performance reports. This field is limited to 255 characters.{br} C. '''Email Message Body Text''' – Enter a default email message. It should be generic, not date specific and applicable to any advertiser or agency receiving a Proof of Performance report. These messages will be used as a default when a specific message for an advertiser or agency is not being used. This field allows up to 32,767 characters.{br} D. Click on the Next button to continue. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark29.png]</center> 3. On the Messages tab, you will set up default marketing messages. These messages will be included in the Proof of Performance reports: (((NOTE – The default information can be overwritten when setting up specific PoP reports.))) A. '''Direct Marketing Message Text''' – Enter a default marketing message for your direct clients. It should be generic, not date specific and applicable to any advertiser receiving a Proof of Performance report. These messages will be used as a default when a specific message for a direct advertiser is not being used. This field is limited to 2000 characters.{br} B. '''Agency Marketing Message Text''' – Enter a default marketing message for your agency clients. It should be generic, not date specific and applicable to any agency receiving a Proof of Performance report. These messages will be used as a default when a specific message for an agency is not being used. This field is limited to 2000 characters.{br} C. '''Global Report Footer Message''' – Enter a default footer message. It should be generic, not date specific and applicable to any advertiser or agency receiving a Proof of Performance report. These messages will be used as a default when a specific message for an advertiser or agency is not being used. This field is limited to 2000 characters. D. Click on the Save button to save your changes.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/Mark30.png]</center> ===PoP Reports=== The Reports section is where you will go to create Proof of Performance reports for your advertisers and agencies. In Reports, you have the ability to customize Proof of Performance reports, create and share report templates, as well as create customized and shared reporting schedules. On the Exchange PoP Services Setting screen, click on the Reports option to begin creating PoP reports. The Client PoP Reports screen displays a list of all current PoP reports. You can sort the list by column headings. ● '''Agency''' – Shows the agencies to which reports are being sent. If you see <Direct> listed in this column it means the report is not associated with an agency.{br} ● '''Advertiser''' – Shows the advertiser to which reports are being sent.{br} ● '''Report Description''' – Displays the report description. The report names are internal and will not be included on the PoP report. The Report Description simply helps you identify the reports.{br} ● '''Report Template Name''' – You have the ability to create report templates. This is helpful when you have instances where you want to send advertisers and agencies the same information, for example, spot rates, contract numbers, dayparts, etc. Templates give you the ability to create a report that can be shared among multiple advertisers and/or agencies. Also, you have the option to create custom reports. Custom reports do not require a template name and will simply be identified as (Custom) in this column.{br} ● '''Schedule Description''' – You have the ability to create report schedules which will dictate when the report will be delivered to the advertiser or agency. Also, you have the ability to create schedules that can be shared, which will be compiled and delivered at the same time. In addition, you can create a custom schedule for those clients who want their reports delivered on specific days and/or times. Custom schedules do not require a schedule name and will simply be identified as (Custom) in the column. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark03.png]</center> ====Adding a Report==== To add a report, complete the following instructions: 1. On the Exchange PoP Services Setting screen, click on the Add icon.{br} 2. On the Select Agency/Advertiser screen, enter the following information: A. '''Agency dropdown''' - If the advertiser for whom the report is being created is associated with an agency you must select an agency from the drop-down menu. If no agency is selected, it will be assumed that the report is for a direct advertiser.{br} B. '''Advertiser''' - Select the advertiser for whom the report will be created. If an agency has been selected the list will be limited to only those advertisers associated with the agency.{br} C. Click on the OK button to continue. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark04.png]</center> 3. On the Client PoP Report settings screen, in the Description field, enter a description for the report. This is an internal name and is not included in the Report. For example, enter “Yesterday’s Spot Times”. The description is helpful if you have a client that receives multiple reports. The description displays in the Report Description column on the Client PoP Report screen. You will see the name of the Agency and/or the Advertiser for who the report is being created. PoP reports can be delivered in PDF, CSV or XML formats. ===Email Settings=== The Email Settings tab defaults to the email options you previously setup (Sender’s Address, Subject Line, and Message Body Text). The default email information appears as gray text, but for this report, you can overwrite the default message if needed by simply deleting and typing in the new information. On the Email Settings tab, complete the following information:{br} 1. In the Sender’s Email Address field, leave the default information, or enter the email address for the sender.{br} 2. In the Recipient’s Address(es) field, enter the email address for the person or persons receiving the report. (((Multiple addresses must be separated by a semicolon (;).))) 3. '''Subject Line field''' - leave the default information, or enter the email subject line.{br} 4. '''Message Body Text field''' - leave the default information or enter the message text for this email.{br} 5. '''Date''' - select the No End Date option to have no end date for the report or select the End Date option and enter the appropriate end date. If you choose to overwrite any of the default information for this particular report and select an end date when the message expires the report will revert back to the default messages.{br} 6. '''Marketing message''' - If you want to utilize, select the Use Marketing Message option. If you choose not to send a marketing message with a report unselect the Use Marketing Message option this removes all marketing messages.{br} 7. '''Marketing Message Text field''' - leave the default information or enter the marketing message text for this report.{br} 8. '''Date''' - select the No End Date option to have no end date for the marketing message or select the End Date option and enter the appropriate end date. If you choose to overwrite any of the default information for this particular report and select an end date when the message expires the report will revert back to the default messages. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark05.png]</center> ===Template Settings=== Template Settings is where you set up the information you want to be included in the report and the number of days forward and back you for which you want to report spots times. The report days are not dependent on the status of the log. You can create two types of templates, Custom and Shared: 1. To create a Custom Template, on the Template Settings tab, complete the following information: A. Select the Custom Template Name option. While custom templates are not assigned a name the word (Custom) appears in the Report Template column as the name of the report template.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark06.png]</center> B. Click on the Edit Template Settings link to access the Custom report options. Select the spot data you want to be included on the report:{br} 1. Include Daypart{br} 2. Include Spot Rate{br} 3. Include Agency Client Code{br} 4. Include Product Name{br} 5. Include Estimate Number{br} 6. Include Contract Number{br} 7. Show Posted/Accepted Spots – Spots from logs that have been posted/accepted.{br} 8. Show Scheduled Spots – Spots that have not yet aired or are on logs that have not been posted/accepted.{br} 9. Show Bumped Spots – Spots that are on the bump list. C. Select the spot time range you want to send to your client. For example, if every day you want to send a recurring report with Tomorrow’s times you would select the Spot Range Time of “Tomorrow”. Each day when the report is compiled it will also report the times for “Tomorrow”. There are several pre-set options:{br} 1. Today{br} 2. Tomorrow{br} 3. Yesterday{br} 4. This Week{br} 5. Next Week{br} 6. Last Week{br} 7. Next 7 Days{br} 8. Last 7 Days{br} 9. Last Saturday, Sunday, Monday{br} 10. Last Weekend{br} 11. This Weekend{br} 12. This Saturday, Sunday, Monday{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark09.png]</center> D. You also have the option to create custom Spot Range Times. For example, if an advertiser or agency wanted to see times for yesterday, today and tomorrow you would need to create a custom report. This can be done by selecting the <Custom> Spot Range option in the Spot Time Range field: 1. In the From field, use the up and down arrows to select the appropriate number of days.{br} 2. In the Days fields, use the drop-down menu to select either the Before or After option. Also use the drop-down menu to select the Today, Yesterday or Tomorrow option.{br} 3. In the To field, use the up and down arrows to select the appropriate number of days.{br} 4. In the Days fields, use the drop-down menu to select either the Before or After option. Also use the drop-down menu to select the Today, Yesterday or Tomorrow option. E. Click on the Save button to save your Custom Template.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark10.png]</center> 2. Shared Templates give you the ability to create report templates you can assign to multiple reports eliminating the need to create the same report repeatedly. For example, if you have several clients who want to see spot times for last week’s spots you can create one template and assign it to each of those advertisers. To create a Shared Template, on the Template Settings tab, complete the following information: A. Select the Shared Template Name option.{br} B. Click on the jump button next to the drop-down menu.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark11.png]</center> C. On the Shared Report Templates screen, click on the Add icon.{br} D. On the PoP Report Template Editing screen, in the Shared Template Name field, enter a name for your template.{br} E. Select the spot data you want to be included on the report:{br} 1. Include Daypart{br} 2. Include Spot Rate{br} 3. Include Agency Client Code{br} 4. Include Product Name{br} 5. Include Estimate Number{br} 6. Include Contract Number{br} 7. You also have the option to create custom Spot Range Times. For example, if an advertiser or agency wanted to see times for yesterday, today and tomorrow you would need to create a custom report. This can be done by selecting the <Custom> Spot Range option in the Spot Time Range field: 1. In the From field, use the up and down arrows to select the appropriate number of days.{br} 2. In the Days fields, use the drop-down menu to select either the Before or After option. Also use the drop-down menu to select the Today, Yesterday or Tomorrow option.{br} 3. In the To field, use the up and down arrows to select the appropriate number of days.{br} 4. In the Days fields, use the drop-down menu to select either the Before or After option. Also use the drop-down menu to select the Today, Yesterday or Tomorrow option. H. Click on the Save button to save your Shared Template.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark12.png]</center> Edit Shared Report Templates – You have the ability to edit existing Shared Templates by selecting the template and choosing the Edit option. Delete Shared Report Templates – Use the delete option if you wish to delete Shared Templates that are not in use. If you select a Shared Template that is being used the Delete option is disabled. You will need to assign a new template (Custom or Shared) or delete the entire Proof of Performance report if you want to delete a template that is currently in use. ===Scheduling Tab=== The next step is to determine how and when you want the report delivered to your client. Select one if the following sending options: 1. None – Selecting the None options means no delivery schedule has been assigned to the report. This means the report will have to be sent manually by clicking the Send Report Now button at the bottom of the screen.{br} 2. Custom Schedule – Selecting the Custom Schedule option means you have a unique report schedule for a client. To set up a Custom Schedule, complete the following instructions: A. Select the Custom Schedule option.{br} B. Click on the Schedule link.{br} C. Enter either the recurring or one-time scheduling options. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark13.png]</center> 3. Shared Schedule –The Shared Schedule option gives you the ability to setup different scheduling configurations and assigns them to advertisers or agencies. For example, if you have a client to whom you wish to send nightly reports you can set up a “nightly configuration” by clicking the jump button and creating a new schedule. That schedule can then be shared among other advertisers and agencies. To set up a Shared Schedule, complete the following instructions: <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark14.png]</center> A. Select the Shared Schedule option.{br} B. Use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate schedule or click on the jump button to create a new schedule. C. Click on the Schedule link.{br} D. Enter either the recurring or one-time scheduling options.{br} (((FYI - For more information about the various report scheduling options, see the Report Scheduling Options section.))) ===Contract Options Tab=== On the Contracts Options tab, select the contracts for which you would like to send Proof of Performance Reports. Select one of the following options: ● All Contracts – A Proof of Performance Report will be sent to your advertiser or agency for all the contracts scheduling spots in your traffic system. Spots for all the contracts are included on one report.{br} ● Specific Contracts – This option lists ALL of the contracts in the traffic system for your client and allows you to pick the contracts for which you would like to send spot times. Spot times for all the selected contracts are included on one report.{br} ● Specific Contracts – Current Contracts Only – You still have the ability to select the specific contracts for which you wish to spend spot times, however checking the Current Contracts the Only option only lists current contracts. Current contracts are defined as any contract with an End Date greater than or equal to 30 days ago.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark15.png]</center> ===Station Options Tab=== On the Station Options tab, select the stations for which you would like to send Proof of Performance Reports. Select one of the following options: ● All Stations – Select the All Stations option to include spot times for all stations.{br} ● Specific Stations – Select the Specific Stations option to check the station or stations for which you want to report spot times.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark16.png]</center> ===PoP Report Logos=== Put the finishing touch on your Proof of Performance reports by adding your logo. This is done by simply uploading your logo to your MyMarketron account. To add your logo to Proof of Performance reports, complete the following instructions: 1. Go to [www.mymarketron.com] and enter your login credentials.{br} 2. Click on the Support menu, and select the Station Logos option.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark24.png]</center> 3. On the Station Logos screen, select your Company Name, choose to Update your Company Logo and/or Station Logos and browse to your logo files. You should have a market logo (representing your entire cluster or market), and (optionally) an individual logo for each station. Your logos should be in PNG format and have a size of 3 inches wide by 2 inches high. Your logo does not need the remittance address. The remittance address will print separately. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark25.png]</center> (((NOTE - If your current logos do not fit these requirements you can edit them in Paint or your preferred graphics editor and save the logo file as a PNG file.))) 4. Click on the Submit button. Your company/market logo will then be placed under the Company Logo heading and will propagate to all of your stations as a default. You then have the ability to update each station with a station logo if desired. If a station logo is not available the company/market logo will be used in its place. With this MyMarketron feature, you have the ability to change your logos at any time. You can update or delete a station logo at which time the company/market logo will be used as a default. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark26.png]</center> Since the company/market logo is used as the default in the absence of a station logo you cannot delete the company/market logo from the station. To remove a company/market logo it must be deleted under the Company logo in the top left of the page. When your Proof of Performance reports are delivered they will be branded with your logo. <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark27.png]</center> ===Report Scheduling Options=== Report scheduling determines when your Proof of Performance reports will be automatically delivered to your clients. To set up an automatic Proof of Performance report, complete the following instructions: 1. On the Scheduling tab, click the Schedule link.{br} 2. On the New Schedule screen, in the Schedule Type field, use the drop-down menu to select either the One-Time or Recurring option.{br} ===One Time Report === To set up a one-time report schedule, complete the following instructions: 1. In the Schedule Type field, use the drop-down menu to select the One-Time option.{br} 2. In the Schedule Name field, enter a name for your schedule.{br} 3. In the Date, the field uses the drop-down menu to select the appropriate date.{br} 4. In the Time field use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate time.{br} 5. Click on the OK button.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark17.png]</center> ===Recurring Schedules=== To set up recurring report schedules, complete the following instructions: 1. In the Schedule Type field, use the drop-down menu to select the Recurring option.{br} 2. In the Schedule Name field, enter a name for your schedule.{br} ====Daily Recurring Reports==== To set up a daily recurring report delivery, complete the following instructions: 1. In the Frequency, section uses the drop-down menu to select the Daily option.{br} 2. In the Daily Frequency section, select one of the following options: A. Occurs Once At – Use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate time for the report to be delivered. In the Duration section, select the Start Date and End Date or choose the No End Date option.{br} '''OR'''{br} B. Occurs Every – Select the number of minutes or hours between a start and end time. In the Duration section, select the Start Date and End Date or choose the No End Date option.{br} <center>[image||{UP}PoP/mark18.png]</center> ====Week Recurring Report==== To set up a weekly recurring report delivery, complete the following instructions: 1. In the Frequency, section uses the drop-down menu to select the Weekly option.{br} 2. In the Recurs Every section set the report to be delivered every X number of weeks.{br} 3. In the Days of the Week section, select the day or days of the week you would like the report to be delivered on a recurring basis.{br} 4. In the Daily Frequency section select one of the following options: A. Occurs Once At – Use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate time for the report to be delivered. In the Duration section, select the Start Date and End Date or choose the No End Date option.{br} '''OR'''{br} B. Occurs Every – Select the number of minutes or hours between a start and end time. In the Duration section, select the Start Date and End Date or choose the No End Date option. 5. In the Frequency section, use the drop-down menu in the Occurs field to select the Monthly option.{br} 2. In the Calendar field select either the Calendar or Broadcast Month option.{br} 3. In the Day field, select this option if you would like the report delivery to occur on a certain date of a particular month.{br} 4. In the field, select this option to set the report delivery to happen on a certain week, the day of the week over a certain number of months.{br} 5. In the Daily Frequency section, select one of the following options: A. Occurs Once At – Use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate time for the report to be delivered.
