Automation System: WireReady (WR32)
<div id="Text"> ==WireReady (WR32)== [Automation_Systems|back] ((('''WORK IN PROGRESS''' - Please understand that we are actively rewriting much of our documentation and this page is currently "under construction"; if there's anything that you'd like to see added to and/or expanded upon, please let us know by [SendSmile|sending us a smile].))) ===Introduction=== RadioTraffic converts to a specific WireReady log format. ===Station Configuration=== To configure RadioTraffic to work with WireReady, you will first need modify the station configuration to utilize WireReady as the automation system. In the administration module, open 'Stations'. Select the station you want to configure and double click. Once the station configuration is visible, select the 'Files' tab. Select the 'Product' to WireReady using the drop down selection tool. The 'Automation Log Path' is where RadioTraffic will export the log to, so set this to the file system folder that WireReady will pull the file from. ===Cart Numbers=== We do not restrict cart number length in any way; so please check with WireReady for specifics on what is allowed. ===Automation Commands=== Automation commands are exported as cart numbers. ===Log Notes=== Log Notes are currently not exported. ===Programs=== Programs are currently not exported. ===Avails/Breaks=== Avail markers do not export and are used strictly inside of RT as a means of scheduling. ===Log Reconciliation=== RadioTraffic currently supports automatic log reconciliation. WireReady (WR32) needs to be configured for the following fixed position columns: * Time (8 chars) * *Unknown* (2 chars) * Cart # (8 chars) * *Unknown* (2 chars) * Description (20 chars) * *Unknown* (2 chars) * *Unknown* (8 chars) The filename should be in the "T_M_D_YYYY_t-DAY.ply.LOG" pattern where T is the secondary part of the tag, M is the month (1 or 2 digit), D is the day (1 or 2 digit), YYYY is the year, t is the primary portion of the tag and DAY is the three character day. ==FAQ== ((('''TODO''' Add any questions as they come up to this section.))) ==Additional Information== ((('''TODO''' What other tidbits of information might be useful related to this subject.))) </div> <DIV class=transcludedpage> <div id="Side">{toc} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} {br} </div> </div> <SCRIPT type=text/javascript> var navItem = document.getElementById('ManualTab'); navItem.className = 'active'; </SCRIPT>
