Mustfill choice Premier or EXP version
Within The Premier Version of RT there will now be the ability to switch to the EXP version of Fill.
For the Premier version you can click
mustfill
EditBefore you switch
TemplatesEXP users (moving to Premier and keeping EXP Fill) will notice nothing different in Templates.
Premier users (switching to EXP Fill) lose the ability to select Mustfill placement within Templates and the Log. And any templates that have Fill selected will no longer work. So any Templates that you want to keep using (that have Fill) will have to be altered (ALL Fill MUST be removed from the ENTIRE template and re-saved or you will not be able to use it after the EXP Fill switch.)
Once the switch is made you will not be able to remove Fill from templates because you will no longer see the checkbox to turn Fill off and on from within the Log or Templates.
EditMust Fill EXP
Preparing for FillIndividual pieces of
Copy can be chosen to be Fill. To do this open the piece of copy and checkmark the box labeled "Include in fill". Then select the days and times you would like this piece of
Copy to be used ad Fill.
After you have selected all of your copy you want to use. Open the log
There is a Tab at the bottom of the Log called "Fill".
This is where your Fill
Copy is listed for you to manually drag and drop individually or you can right click to open the context menu and select automatic placement to fill all empty spaces on the log randomly with the Fill from the list.
EditAutomation – STORQ 2
RadioTraffic now integrates with STORQ2 automation system, a replacement for Westwood One’s old STORQ1 product. This integration gives users the ability to transfer and reconcile logs. Contact support at help@marketron.com to set up the log reconciliation.
EditNetwork Connect Copy
An issue has been corrected where the end date on imported network copy was not being properly extended out if the copy had been previously used network copy. This would occur if the network assigned more than one "Copy End Date". The import process was using the first copy end date rather than the furthest.

- Fix: Updated public API to reflect the master DB move from Dallas to Denver.
- Added: Completed initial pass of integrating with Marketron Services - Proof of Performance.
- Support / Internal

Edit2172
Log ImprovementsIt is now possible to open up the Context menu and remove spots by Owner.
- Bump Spots that are Make Goods
It is now possible to open up the Context menu and remove spots by Make Goods.
EC You will only see this highlighted if you have placed any Make Goods on the Log and they have not been rescheduled.
- Added
- It is now possible to "bump by owner" when working the Log.
- When opening a log, the make good list is now loaded "in the background" allowing you to begin working the log more quickly (the make good list is, however, unavailable until it is finished loading).
- Modified
- Fix: When exporting an invoice to PDF (if available), the additional copy pages included as part of a coop invoice have issues with formatting if the customer name is "too long".
- Improve: The Bump All Make Good Spots tool in the Log is only enabled if there is at least one "make good" on the Log. Note: Once the log is saved, any make good spots on the log are now "rescheduled"... meaning they are no longer "make good".
- Fix: When exporting to a Maestro automation system, it is possible to specify the type of event through adding an LS, LR, etc. to the avail type name using a pipe character; however, this pipe character is used with the composite avails feature causing the avail to no longer be visible in the selection list when trying to assign the avail type to a contract line item. To address this, the character used is being changed from a pipe character to a backslash character.
- Improve: The "past due" notice will no longer show on the Statement if the CreditPolicy is None (Essentials/EXP).
Edit2169
- Modified
- Fix: When including the optional "Station Summary" on a Confirmation and the confirmation also contains an agency commission, the gross and net columns for this summary doesn't reflect the reduced amount due to the existence of the agency commission.
Edit2168

- Copy Attachment Report - Details all Copy attached to Contract(s) executing during the report period.
- Rescheduled Spots Report - Details rescheduled spots between two specified dates.
- Yearly Sales Review Report - Combines the billing history for all pasts months and revenue projections for current and future months into year columns.
The Copy Attachment and Reschedule Spots Reports are under the Contract category of Reports:
The Yearly Sales Review Report is under the Sales category of Reports:
- Modified
- Added: Introducing three new reports: Rescheduled Spots, Copy Assignment and Yearly Sales Review.
- Fix: The icon on the Reports window needs to be updated to the new icon.
- Exceptions
- ArgumentException in Contract.Calendar.Broadcast.MonthStartDate(): When a start date of 1/1/1753 is used in a contract line item for a broadcast contract, combined with choosing the daily scheduling option and then clicking on the calendar button causes the application to crash.
- DeletedRowInaccessibleException in Invoice.InsertSpot(): When attempting to add a spot after removing an existing spot on an invoice, this exception can occur.

Edit2166
Multi-select in MakeGoodsWe have added the multi-select capability in the
MakeGood window providing the ability to
reschedule,
trash,
check and/or
uncheck multiple spots as a single action:

Statement Aging By Month optionAfter some feedback, we altered the "by month" option of aging on statements. The "current month" is included only if there is a balance within the "current month"; if no balance, the "current month" is filtered:
- Modified
- Added: The following optional columns are available for use on the Write On Spot (Log) window: Placement, Product, Start Date, End Date, Quantity, P.Conflict, S.Conflict, Avail Type, Sales Person, Owner, and Agency.
- Added: Multi-select capability is now available in the MakeGood window providing the ability to reschedule, trash, check and/or uncheck multiple spots as a single action.

- Improved: The Statement Aging (By Month) option has been modified based on several of our clients feedback so that the "current month" is included only if there is a balance within the "current month"; if no balance, the "current month" is filtered from the included Aging (By Month).
- Fixed: The Ticket field of the Filter tab in the Tickets window only allows for 5 digits; this needs to be increased to support the (now) 6 digit ticket numbers.
- Exceptions
- NullReferenceException in Ticket.InitializeDataAsync(): It seems that it is possible to still attempt to open a ticket where the cached data necessary to view the ticket is unavailable due to pressing cancel in the Tickets window which will cause this exception. This update addresses this by attempting to handle this situation more gracefully.
Edit2162
Improved Write-on SpotsWe improved the write on spot window. It has been modified to allow for additional columns and multi-select capability. In order to do this, the overall workflow has been tweaked slightly requiring that you modify the time and copy assigned using the existing tools already available on the log:
After the Write-on spot has been placed in the log, you can double-click on the line to bring up the Modify Line window and add
Copy. Then just click on the Aired Time and change the time to your needs.
Improve Invalid Copy in Rotation windowWe improved the Rotation Window in
Contracts to show for possible invalid pieces of
Copy.
- Red bar and faded lettering means copy has been Archived
- Red bar and line through lettering means copy has been Trashed
- Orange bar mean the copy has been placed on Hold.
EC A Copy on Hold can be placed into a rotation but if the contract runs before the hold is lifted, the log will show as an invalid copy

FeesUpdate of Archiving and Trashing abilities in the
fees window inside of
Settings.
We now have two levels of removal (Archived and Trashed) from the Fees window for better file management. Each of these can be returned to an active state with the Un-Archive and Un-Trash ability that you will only see in a context menu of a fee that can be...
Merge and Multi-Select:
Merge, will move all allocated areas assigned from the original fee to the merged one, you assign it to, and then deletes the original fee(s) selected.
Multi-Select, allows you to Shift/Left click or ctrl/left click to gather a few fees and right click to open the Context menu and apply to all highlighted.
- Modified
- Added: Introducing the new "Must Fill" report.
- Improve: All text fields that are "numeric only" now allow for CTRL+A (select all), CTRL+C (copy to clipboard), CTRL+X (cut to clipboard) and CTRL+V (paste from clipboard).
- Improve: The write on spot window has been modified to allow for additional columns and multi-select capability. In order to provide for this, the overall workflow has been tweaked slightly requiring that you modify the time and copy assigned using the existing tools already available on the log.
- Improve: Added ability to multi-select, trash, un-trash, archive, un-archive, merge, view trashed, view archived to Fees.
- Improve: It is now possible to optionally include Agency Commission % and/or Sales Commission % on Confirmations. ** Improve: Several Canadian clients have expressed that some Agencies complain about the "C/O" portion of an Agency address on Confirmations, Invoices, and/or Statements causing issues; as such, it is now possible to optionally suppress the "C/O" from the address.
- Improve: We have expanded the "*NOT RECOMMENDED*" permission options to include the ability for Administrator Assistant to manage Stations.
- Improve: A debt adjustment entry on a Statement no longer presents the "internal reference number"; instead, it now displays as "DBT" as the "internal reference number" is too similar to an "invoice number" causing confusion with some customers leading to delays in receipt of payment.
- Improve: The AddLogNote window in the Log_Templates add-on Template window now allows for 5 characters in the length field to accommodate entry for MM:SS formatted length.
- Improve: The Rotation window will now provide additional "details" with regards to copy that is on hold, archived and/or trashed; previously all of these were displayed in the same "red highlighter".
- Fix: It seems to be possible to add the same spot multiple times when using the Add Spot tool on an Invoice; this should not be allowed.
- Fix: The Modify Spot windows in the Log editor used during log reconciliation can be sized way below a size that is reasonable.
- Fix: The Members tab on the Station window has been modified so that archived and/or trashed Users are no longer included in the list; additionally, the administrator is now included.
- Exceptions:
- DeletedRowInaccessibleException in Contract.IsHeaderReadOnly(): Not exactly sure how to reproduce this exception but possibly has something to do with splitting a contract, opening the original, modifying the contract in such a way that it can now be canceled and then attempting to delete an OAR contract line item leading to this exception. Changes have been made that *might* (due to not being able to reproduce) prevent this exception from happening in the future.
- Support / Internal
- Improve: Added several new optional columns to Tickets.
- Improve: The "red line highlight" has been removed from Tickets; instead, the red highlight effect related to ticket aging has been reduced to just the Aging column in an effort to improve the overall visuals and readability.
- Improve: It is now possible to update the CC# on a ticket regardless of ticket status.
- Improve: It is now possible to modify resolution field after changing the status to "Resolved".

The field now only allows for 4 digits maximum.
- Support / Internal
- Improved agency list import to more gracefully handle rows with missing columns (address).
Edit2144

Multi-Select, allows you to Shift/Left click or ctrl/left click to gather a few taxes and right click to open the Context menu and apply to all highlighted.
- Modified
- Improve: After forcing a spot into a time that it shouldn't be allowed based on rules that were defined by overriding the placement (using the shift key) of the spot it is desirable to have some indication on the log as a reminder that reflects that this was done. We currently have definable conflict colors on the line, so coloring the whole line as we do during reconciliation would not be appropriate; however, what if we could color the start time and/or end time columns. This is exactly what we've done... additionally, each column is colored appropriately based on the "warning" condition meaning that the start time column is only yellow (warning) if the scheduled time is prior to the start time. The end time is treated similarly.
- Improve: It is now possible to utilize multi-select within Contracts to either print or print preview the selected contracts.
- Improve: It is now possible to leverage multi-select, trash, un-trash, archive, un-archive, merge, view trashed, view archived across Voices and Taxes.
- Improve: Added error message regarding Windows Vista no longer being supported; as of this release, RT will no longer work on Windows Vista.
- Fix: Removed the "Show Auto Filter Row" in the Invoice ("Items"), Contracts (Customers), and Station ("Members") windows as it shouldn't exist; it "does nothing"... however, it does cause the application to crash if enabled and interacted upon.
- Beta: When emailing invoices during billing, the system is now capable of attaching (grouping) multiple invoices to the same target email address thus significantly (potentially) reducing the total number of emails being sent. (NOTE: This is currently only available through "beta" access; if you would like to participate in the early release phase, please contact us for more details.)
- Exceptions
- InvalidCastException in Print Invoices.Print(): Not sure of the circumstances that caused this exception as additional detail was not provided; however, improvements have been made in an effort to reduce the possibility of it happening in the future.
- Support / Internal
- Improve: Allow for full control of Group settings for a system that is designated as "qa", "sales" or "support". Note that it is still not possible to make changes to a clients options, this must still be done by them.
- Improve: It is now possible to "short-circuit" some of the steps when testing log locking/reconciling by holding down the shift key while clicking on the action. Note that this does not negate the need to continue to evaluate/test using the normal flow and is only available in the "qa", "sales" and "support" systems.
Edit2142
MakeGood Window ImprovementsThanks to one of our clients keeping us honest, we were made aware that the new-and-improved
MakeGood window inadvertently introduced a limitation that didn't previously exist with the "onion-layer" windows previously available. To remedy this, we have introduced the ability to easily and quickly activate checkmarks in batch by
Station,
Customer and/or
Contract for removal of
MakeGoods all the while providing for an overall view and detailed control over all of the
MakeGoods.
Here's a close-up of the context menu:
- We've introduced the following new actions:
- Check by this Station - Allows you to checkmark all makegoods by the station of the one selected.
- Check by this Customer - Allows you to checkmark all makegoods by the Customer of the one selected.
- Check by this Contract - Allows you to checkmark all makegoods by the Contract of the one selected.
Add Spot to InvoiceWe have made improvements to the Add Spot window to make the choice of a spot better.
This is how the experience used to be...
This is an example of the replacement...
- Modified
- Improve: Replaced "Add Spot" dialog in the Invoice window with completely new UI in order to add the ability to show line number, start time, end time, etc.
- Improve: The Print button has been renamed to Process on the PrintStatements window.
- Improve: It is now possible to print and/or print preview the PrintStatements and EmailStatements window information.
- Fix: The labels on the Ticket window for the Notification tab are "floating" when the window is resized.
- Improve: It is now possible to "Select by Station", "Select by Customer" and/or "Select by Contract" in the MakeGood window via the context menu (right-click) for any particular spot; the spot that is currently selected will be used to determine other similar spots to automatically enable the checkmark/select.
- Fix: There is a small typo in the description of the Invoice report on the Reports list.
- Exception
- ArgumentNullException in Tickets.InitializeDataAsync(): There appears to be a way manipulate MyViews for the "left side" in such a way that this exception is thrown when opening the Tickets window later. This issue is resolved in this update.
- Support/Internal
- In order to better assist handling of tickets, the client list in the Tickets window now includes several new optional columns including Aging, Group, Last On, Product and State.
- It is now possible for someone in customer service to activate add-on's and options in any of the "internal" systems to facilitate ongoing education; it is still not possible for them to manipulate actual client systems.
EditMarch 2018
Edit2134
Payments/AdjustmentsIf you desire to target a
payment/
adjustment to a specific type of
invoice, you can enable the "Transaction Narrowing" option in
Settings->
Group->
Options.
If you have been using the product prior to this release and you desire to have this capability active, you will need to enable it.
This will be unchecked upon the release and if you want/use Transaction Narrowing. You will need to go to Settings, Group, Options. Scroll down and checkmark the option, On.
New Makegood WindowTo add a feature wanted by many, we also removed the onion-like layers of the 3 makegood windows and created 1 window. And with all of your Makegoods on one page, we can now give you the ability to View Contracts from within Makegoods.
This window can still be accessed from the
Dashboard,
Billing and
Contracts.
Your new context menu:
EC EXP and Essentials will not have many of these features but they will have the new single window.
Hide Pending UpdateFor those that want to remove the Pending Update Timer can now from "View" in the Dashboard:
Report ImprovementsWe added "Next Year" as a Period for the Annual Sales Review and Annual Sales Review Accrual reports:
- Modified
- Improve: The MakeGood multi-layer "onion" windows are being replaced by a single all-in-one window.
- Improve: Added "Next Year" as a Period for the Annual Sales Review and Annual Sales Review Accrual reports.
- Improve: Allow Billing Read-Only role to print, email and/or export invoices.
- Improve: When opening a Ticket from the Dashboard, the latest Ticket comment is no longer automatically opened.
- Improve: In the event that there is more than one Ticket on the Dashboard, the additional pieces of information that are necessary to open the Ticket are now cached the first time a Ticket is opened; this means that additional Tickets will open more quickly since the "base" information is now cached (ready-to-go).
- Improve: Modified the default behavior for Payments and Adjustments so as to not automatically display to "narrowing" fields; instead, allow a group option to specifically opt-in to having these fields visible to facilitate the optional narrowing of target invoice assignment.
- Improve: It is now possible to "opt-out" of the pending update countdown by using the View->Hide pending update. menu (toggle).
- Exceptions
- InvalidOperationException in PerformUpdateAsync(): Under some extremely rare circumstances, it appears that the actual act of processing the update is being launched more than once; modified so that if this exception is encountered it is assumed that the other process is going to be successful so the second one just aborts in an effort to handle this more gracefully.
- ArgumentNullException in LoadLogDialog.ContextMenuOpening(): Under some circumstance, when selecting a specific log to load and subsequently right click to access the context menu it is possible that there are now items available which causes this exception. This is gracefully handled in this update.
Edit2125
- Modified
- Fix: When clicking the Logs icon on the Dashboard to open a log and you have more than one station, selecting a station isn't presenting the list of logs for the selected station.
Edit2124

- Improve: The Pending tab in Billing has been changed to read Ready.
- Improve: The Exception window now has a minimum size.
- Fix: The cursor in the Ticket window for the description field overlaps the "instructions" and doesn't appear to be aligned quite right.
- Fix: The tab order on the Ticket window doesn't seem to make sense.
- Exceptions
- NullReferenceException in Log.Open_Action(): When encountering a "timeout" (retry/cancel) message while attempting to open a Log and pressing the cancel button this exception can occur. Although unable to reproduce, additional checks have been put in place in an effort to reduce the possibility of this happening in the future.
- ArgumentNullException in ReportInventory.GetColumnInfo(): The details are sparse in exactly what caused this issue; however, it is assumed that it is due to a "timeout" (retry/cancel) issue at some point in the process where the cancel button was selected putting the system in a situation where the information necessary to determine the columns was not available. Although unable to reproduce, additional checks have been put in place to in an effort to reduce the possibility of this happening in the future.
- Support / Internal
- Fix: The pending countdown for the next release disappears when switching from one client to another; this is resolved in this update.
- Improve: When creating a ticket, the private field is no longer activated by default and it is now possible to toggle.
- Improve: Tickets set to a hold status is now displayed using an italic font and no longer count toward the "aging".

- Modified
- Improve: Changed Inactive on Agency to Archived. Added Trashed as a new status entry for Agency.
- Improve: The Agencies window has been modified to treat Trash / Un-Trash as Archive / Un-Archive as this is what was actually taking place behind the scenes.
- Improve: Agencies window now supports View->Archived as well as View->Trashed. Added tools to Archive and Un-Archive
- Improve: Conflicts now supports Trash, Un-Trash and View->Trashed in addition to Archive, Un-Archive and View->Archived.
- Improve: Completely replaced AgencyCommissions window to add support for multi-select, refresh, archive, trash, merge, etc.
- Improve: Modified the Total column name in the projections portion of the Confirmation document to be Net to better reflect the value compared to the existing Gross column.
- Fix: When adding a new Log Note to the Template window and immediately trying to utilize the new Log Note, the Template see's it as an Automation Command and doesn't ultimately save the line correctly and read properly when opening the Template in the future.
- Fix: The Sales Person column on the Billing window is not displaying "* TRASHED(?) *" for invoices containing salespeople who have been trashed.
- Improve: Tickets have been updated to support linking to an optional "Customer Central" case; used internally by the customer service department.
- Improve: Tickets have also been updated to support "private" comments; used internally by the customer service department.
- Improve: The Survey window can now be "maximized".
- Improve: The Survey window now includes an "opt-out" checkbox to handle situations where the survey may have been received through another notification channel (website, email, etc.) allowing for the survey to be removed from the Dashboard without the survey being completed.
- Improve: It is no longer possible to take more than one survey at a time.
- Improve: The Dashboard notice is now removed from the process to update the server flagging the removal of the notice; the prior way was causing issues where, while the communication with the server was taking place, the notice was still on the Dashboard and it would be clicked on a second (unnecessary) time.
- Fix: RevenueSources and RevenueTypes on Customer window not filtering archived.
- Fix: Contract window not filtering out archived Agencies, SalesPeople, Conflicts, RevenueSources, RevenueTypes.
- Fix: Archived / trashed Copy is available when adding Copy to a Rotation.

- Improve: It is now possible to archive, un-archive, trash, un-trash, merge, and utilize multi-selection for the Commissions, Countries and CreditPolicies windows.
- Improve: The comment field on a Contract/Invoice header exported to EDI does not support CR/LF; in other words, if a Contract is intended to be delivered via EDI to an Agency, all values entered must conform to "4A's" valid values. This update includes, as a convenience, automatic replacement of CR/LF values in the comment field for circumstances where the comment field is incorrectly entered for EDI targetted Contracts.
- Improve: The Apply and OK button on the Ticket window is now disabled while the ticket is being saved; this prevents an issue where the ticket can be duplicated due to clicking on the Apply and/or the OK button while it is currently being saved.
- Fix: The "barter" licensing setting (internal) isn't saving properly in the Station window.
- Exceptions
- InvalidOperationException in Dashboard.PerformUpdateAsync(): In extremely rare occurrences, it is possible that an "Update or check-for-update operation is already in progress." error occurs; changes have been made to mitigate in the future.
- NullReferenceException in Ticket.InitializeDataAsync(): Unable to reproduce, but suspect that this was a network issue that isn't being (completely) gracefully handled when the Cancel button is clicked; modifications have been applied to more gracefully handle this in the future.

Estimate# in the Log EditorWe have placed Estimate# as a column in the Log Editor:
You can place it in your columns from the column Chooser, Right-click on the column line, open the context menu and left-click Column Chooser, scroll down and drag it up to your bar.
We have also placed it at the bottom in Bumps
And placed it at the bottom in Make Goods
EC We added them to Bumps and Make Goods, you can get them by using the Column Chooser described above.
Countdown ClockWe fine tuned the Update Countdown per feedback to show more detail:
Archived/TrashedAs you have seen in the last release with the changes made to archived and trashed
Users/
Salesperson and in this coming release with
RevenueSource and
Revenuetype (see below) we are just clarifying them and giving you the ability to recognize their use throughout Radiotraffic.
Trashed"Trashed" is Radiotraffic's delete feature, this way things can be removed from your daily routine and possibly be retrieved for reuse. We are in the process to make sure that if anything is "Trashed" it is removed from the daily workings and should only be seen in its base settings AND with the "Trashed" ability check marked.
For
Reports, this is different, As something that you have trashed may and will show up in a report. For when you do see an item that has been trashed, in a report, it will show as *Trashed(###)*. The number in with "Trashed" is a reference number.
Archived"Archived" is the "we aren't sure we want to trash it but would like it 'gone'" so that it is no longer in the workflow; meaning that anything archived will no longer be available for "future assignment". In other words, one might want to be able to see it in your daily work and also have the ability to see that has been archived. Therefore archived items will be everywhere they are supposed to be but with an "(Archived)" after them. In their base settings, you can still turn them visible/invisible with the archive feature checkmark.
For
Reports there will be a lot of instances of things being archived and so all archived will be present in all reports. They will show up in those reports with "(Archived)" after them.
EC As we are improving areas we will be showing extra pictures of what will happen with archived and trash in those areas we are talking about.
Revenue SourcesUpdate of Archiving and Trashing abilities in the
RevenueSource window inside of
Settings.
We now have two levels of removal (Archived and Trashed) from the Revenue Source window for better file management. Each of these can be returned to an active state with the Un-Archive and Un-Trash ability that you will only see in a context menu of a revenue source that can be...
EC If you "archive" a revenue source and then "trash" it, when you un-trash, it will become archived and will need to be un-archived to return to "active".
We have also added the ability to "Merge" and Multi-Select revenue source into another:
Merge will move all allocated areas assigned from the original revenue source to the merged one, you assign it to, and then delete the original revenue source selected.
Multi-Select allows you to Shift/Left click or ctrl/left click to gather a few revenue sources and right click to open the Context menu and apply to all highlighted.
Archived/Trashed Priactical Application...
New Contract, Revenue Source drop-down, you notice that "Community Service" and all the political ones are missing (Community Service has been trashed) and the political ones are archived.
Customer, Billing, Revenue Source drop-down, you notice that "Community Service" and all the political ones are missing (Community Service has been trashed) and the political ones are archived.
This is the same image for A/R, adding payment or adjustments.
The Aging Report, We have trashed "Local Agency" in revenue source and archived "Local Direct".
EC This is just to show and do not suggest that you trash anything you may want to use.
Revenue TypesUpdate of Archiving and Trashing abilities in the
RevenueType window inside of
Settings.
We now have two levels of removal (Archived and Trashed) from the Revenue Type window for better file management. Each of these can be returned to an active state with the Un-Archive and Un-Trash ability that you will only see in a context menu of a revenue type that can be...
EC If you "archive" a revenue type and then "trash" it, when you un-trash, it will become archived and will need to be un-archived to return to "active".
We have also added the ability to Merge and Multi-Select revenue types:
Merge will move all allocated areas assigned from the original revenue type to the merged one, you assign it to, and then delete the original revenue type selected.
Multi-Select allows you to Shift/Left click or ctrl/left click to gather a few revenue types and right click to open the Context menu and apply to all highlighted.
Archived/Trashed Priactical Application...
New Contract, Revenue Type drop-down, you notice that "Barter" and "Trade is missing (Barter has been trashed) and "Trade" is archived.
Customer, Billing, Revenue Source drop-down, you notice that "Barter" and "Trade is missing (Barter has been trashed) and "Trade" is archived.
This is the same image for A/R, adding payment or adjustments.
The Aging Report, We trashed "Net300" in revenue type and archived "Net 15".
EC This is just to show and do not suggest that you trash anything you may want to use.
- Modified
- Improve: In response to "Would like to be able to "delete" revenue sources that we are no longer using.", several improvements have been made to the Revenue Sources as well as across everywhere where revenue sources are utilized to support both archived and trashed including multi-select, view archive, view trashed, trash, un-trash, archive, unarchive and merge.
- Improve: The Revenue Types has been completely replaced in order to add support for multi-select, view archived, view trashed, trash, un-trash, archive, unarchive and merge.
- Improve: The Customers, Customer, Contracts, Contract, AR, Invoice, Payment and Adjustment windows have been improved in order to handle trashed revenue sources and revenue types.
- Improve: All reports have been updated in order to support the new capabilities related to revenue sources and revenue types.
- Fix: The Change tool in the CopyList window appears to be missing the Voice entries (if available / enabled).
- Improve: All reports have been modified to show "* TRASHED(?) *" entries for any trashed references (instead of "* DELETED(?) *").
- Improve: The Revenue Sources, Revenue Types, and Customers windows now include the internal "ID" column for use in tracking down "* TRASHED(?) *" entries on reports. This column is only available for the Administrator account.
- Improve: It is now possible to use the SHIFT+F5 key combination to force a "full" refresh in reports to reload the cached reference entries.
- Fix: When working the daily contract line item, the "calendar" editor incorrectly allows setting the end date beyond the maximum 12 months allowed.
- Improve: The Log Summary window in the Log now includes optional Revenue Source and Revenue Type columns if the Log also has these columns.
- Improve: The Log (schedule, bump and make good) and Log Summary windows now include the optional Estimate # column in response to "Would love to have Estimate # as one of the columns to add to the bump list in the log editor. When you have multiple estimate numbers running and are dealing with separation requirements, it would help to see those without having to rely on contract numbers."
- Improve: EDI now exports the invoice comment (header) to record 32; if the comment is greater than 130 characters (the 4A's limit), multiple record 32 entries will be created.
- Improve: Further fine tuning of the "coming soon" notice on the Dashboard to better communicate/reduce some confusion when the update is more than few days in the future.
- Improve: The Conflicts window has been updated so that "trashed" is "archived" to reflect how it's actually working as of today.
- Improve: The AvailTypes window now supports archive.
- Fix: When working with New... button to create a new piece of Copy in the CopyList window, if you set a filter the previously selected piece of copy is still used as the "default" selected customer. Going forward... if a filter is applied causing the currently selected piece of copy to be cleared, the "default" is also cleared.
- Fix: The Sales Person column in the Missing Copy Summary window in the Log appears to always be blank.
- Exceptions
- ArgumentNullException in Copy.UpdateEnabledState(): Unable to determine the exact circumstance(s) where this occurs; however, an additional review has been put in place to more gracefully this issue when and if it occurs... regardless of specific circumstance.
Edit2081
Users/SalespersonUpdate of Archiving and Trashing abilities in the
Users and
Salesperson windows inside of
Settings.
We now have two levels of removal (Archived and Trashed) from the User and Salesperson windows for better file management. Both of these can be returned to an active state with the Un-Archive and Un-Trash ability that you will only see in a context menu of a user or salesperson that can be...
EC If you "archive" someone and then "trash" them, when you un-trash that person, they will become archived and will need to be un-archived to return to "active".
We have also added the ability to "Merge" and Multi-Select Salesperson/User:
Merge will move all allocated areas assigned from the original revenue source to the merged one, you assign it to, and then delete the original revenue source selected.
Multi-Select allows you to Shift/Left click or ctrl/left click to gather a few salespeople/users and right click to open the Context menu and apply to all highlighted.
Reports UpdateWhen running reports, the
users (
salespeople) who are
archived and/or
trashed have been altered.
Archived will be visible on
reports and
trashed will not. But their respected data within the report will still be there.
Here Cab Calloway had been archived in Users/Salespeople:
He is still listed in both the left column (with a checkmark) and (below) on the right as the salesperson listed for West Wind Motel:
Here Cab Calloway has been trashed in Users/Salespeople:
He is missing in the left column, and (below) on the right the salesperson listed is now "Deleted" but his productivity (West Wind Motel) is still listed in the report:
EC The number with "Deleted" is a reference number to the User/Salesperson. Even though it says deleted, the user/salesperson is only trashed.
- Modified
- Improve: The Users list now supports both Trash and Archive as separate status.
- Fix: When you first open the AR window, quickly switch to the Statement tab and then immediately click the Print button all while the data for the window is initially being retrieved an error stating "Adding a value to a 'datetime' column caused an overflow." is presented due to the date for the Statement (while loading) is set to 1/1/1753. To resolve this, the default date (today) is set before the data is retrieved allowing for this button to be executed successfully while data is still being retrieved.
- Fix: The new release (update) "countdown" contains a display error where it incorrectly reports the number of hours till the next release when the "clock" is between 24-48 hours. This should be handled correctly in this update.
- Fix: There seems to be an issue with regards to unapplied payments not showing on the Aging report. This appears to be related recent changes to reports were checking whether or not a station is trashed includes the values.
- Exceptions
- RowNotInTableException in Contract.IsPartiallyApproved(): Unable to determine the exact circumstance(s) where this occurs; however, the additional review has been put in place to more gracefully this issue when and if it occurs... regardless of specific circumstance.
- ArgumentNullException in Billing.EmailStatements.EmailStatement(): Unable to determine the exact circumstance(s) where this occurs; however, an additional review has been put in place to more gracefully this issue when and if it occurs... regardless of specific circumstance.

Dashboard ReminderWe have had quite a few people ask about knowing ahead of time when a release of the improvements that they want are going to be released. Now while we cant give a concrete time too far down that road, we can let you know a few hours, days or possibly weeks before we go live with a new version.
This will now show up on the Dashboard and countdown to our potential release time and date.
Clicking on this reminder will open the
ComingSoon window containing the details of what is coming in the next release.
Copy ImprovementsWe needed to update the Copy window to reflect the changes we have done to other windows throughout RadioTraffic.
To this we have added the "Trashed" ability to the Copy window Context Menu:
This means we now have two levels of removal (Archived and Trashed) from the copy window for better file management. Both of these can be returned to an active state with the Un-Archive and Un-Trash ability that you will only see in a context menu of a copy that can be.
Just like with the other windows that have the ability to archive and trash we have added to the "View" tab the ability to check and uncheck "Trashed" and "Archived".
This allows for better clean up and faster retrieval of wanted/needed pieces of Copy.
EC If you "archive" someone and then "trash" them, when you un-trash that person, they will become archived and will need to be un-archived to return to "active".
Release Notes- Added
- Improve: The archive / un-archive tool on the CopyList now works the same as modifying the Status: field of either the Copy window or using the CopyList change tool by setting the status to either OK or Archived.
- Improve: The Copy window no longer supports any modifications to the information if the Copy is currently trashed. To make further changes to the Copy when it is trashed, it is now necessary to un-trash before doing so.
- Improve: The CopyList window now includes support for trashed; archived is now truly archived, not trashed disguised as archived. In other words, this means that there is a real difference between archived copy and trashed copy. Note: Copy that was archived prior to this update will most likely be both archived and trashed after this update. From this update forward, the two are no longer tied directly to one another allowing for both archived and/or trashed copy going forward. In other words, it may be necessary to un-trash archived prior to unarchiving in order to activate copy that was previously archived.
- Fix: When using the Change tool in the Customers window, the Separation Type field doesn't appear to apply (save).
- Fix: When any of the existing reports is refreshed (F5), the highlight bar disappears and doesn't seem to reappear whenever you click on any of the report rows. If, however, you click on the Period field (not necessarily changing it) and then click on the report rows, the highlight bar returns.
- Exceptions
- InvalidOperationException in Log.PlaceSpot_Action(): When dragging and dropping to the same avail/unit, there is a finite window between the beginning of the drag operation and where the target drop validation occurs preventing a spot from being dropped onto itself. This isn't really an exception, more of a warning... so in this update, the "protection" check no longer generates an exception, instead, it now presents a message box with an explanation why it isn't going to do anything further with this particular operation attempt.
- Data.RowNotInTableException in Contracts.DeleteContract(): Unsure of the specific circumstances regarding why this exception is occurring; however, added additional checks/verifications in order to more gracefully handle and (hopefully) prevent the exception from occurring in the future.
Edit2072
Mass Change CopyIntroducing the ability to make "mass changes" in
Copy (List) window.
Right clicking on a highlighted group of copy will bring up the Context menu:
The Change menu item will open the Mass Change window:
Where you can mass change the End Date/TFN and the Status of all copy highlighted.
- Added
- Mass Change Copy feature.
- The Inventory report will now store the column layout information on a per-clock selection basis.
- It is now possible to create a Report_Templates template using the Copy report.
- To help everyone continue more smoothly through the Marketron acquisition, the official support number is now located front and center on the Dashboard in the lower right-hand corner (near the version number). Additionally, the phone number will be in regular (normal) text during official support hours (6a to 6p MST/MDT) and faded text during off hours; this check is done using your computers currently selected timezone settings. As a note, please be sure to listen to the prompts closely in an effort to properly route your call. I would be remiss if I didn't remind you that you can skip the multiple layers of the voice prompts if you leverage the SendSmile or SendFrown to initiate the conversation. ;-)
- The Adjustment report now includes an optional Invoice Date column.
- It is now possible to "mass" modify fields across multiple selected pieces of Copy such as voice (if available), end date, status, etc.
- Modified
- Fix: It appears that the "0"/"Ins" key on the "10-key" portion of the keyboard has an issue where when used as 10-key input on the Copy window to utilize the "locate a data row by typing the initial characters of the values" capabilities pressing this key will still attempt to recognize the key as the "Ins" instead of the "0" value as expected regardless of the "Num Lock" state. (forum)
- Improve: The Copy window has been modified so that when creating new Copy the field that contains focus is determined by whether or not the cart # is automatically generated. If automatically generated (populated), the Name field will be set as the focused field. If no cart # was automatically determined, the Cart # field will be set as the focused field.
- Fix: When duplicating a canceled contract, when attempting to modify any line item you are prompted if you want to cancel any changes; meaning it appears you can modify but aren't able to actually modify.
- Fix: When creating a new Rotation, "stations" containing square brackets are incorrectly being made available in the available Stations field.
- "Open Contract" (Contracts, AR) is very different than "View Contract" (Log); as such, the intent in the Log is to be able to view but not modify a Contract as this (currently) causes significant issues.
- Improve: When adding a new Program or Log Note in the Template window, the available items in the tree will now update to reflect any changes made in the Program and/or Log Note list editors (windows).
- Fix: The list of Reports under the Inventory section includes "stations" that are wrapped in with brackets; these are "nonspot" stations, so they shouldn't be in the list as there aren't any spots to be reported.
- Improve: The Payment and Aged Collections reports has been modified so the invoice date presented is based on whether or not the Enforce Billing Cycle Boundary option.
- Improve: The Payment and Aged Collections reports now display Affidavit # and/or Affidavit Date if the Public_Radio add-on is active.
- Improve: If you attempt to open a Log for a newly created Station and the logs haven't been initialized; the open log process will automatically generate the logs as well as any needed (missing) log components necessary to utilize a log.
- Fix: The recent addition of the Revenue Projection (12 Mo Net) report doesn't work 100% with the Report_Templates add-on; it allows the creation of the template, but fails to load the template for this type of report.
- Fix: Adding the N$ Total and/or NX$ Total columns to the Revenue Projection (12 Mo Net) report causes the software to crash.
- Fix: Adding the G$ Total and/or GX$ Total columns to the Revenue Projection (12 Mo Gross) report causes the software to crash.
- Fix: The Reverse tool under the File menu of the Log window conflicts with the accessor key (R) with the Begin/Commit Reconciliation tool; as such, it has been removed.
- Fix: When Trashing a payment/adjustment in AR, the Add Payment and Add Adjustment buttons disappear until either switching to another customer or using the Refresh tool.
- Fix: The transaction type field is available and shouldn't be for existing Debit Adjustments.
- Fix: When archiving a contract, the status incorrectly displays trashing.
- Improve: The customer tab on Reports have been enhanced in the following ways:
- No longer includes Trashed customers.
- Now display (Trashed) or (Archived) as appropriate.
- Improve: The Copy window has been modified to no longer include trashed customers when creating a new piece of Copy.
- Improve: The AR, Payment, Adjustment, Billing and Reports windows with regards to the sales person lists have been improved by removing the trashed entries from the list.
- Fix: The Ticket "lock/unlock" process is incorrectly checking for the type of exception(s) that could occur and end up crashing the system instead of gracefully being able to recover/continue.
- Fix: Changing the email address of a User after one already exists results in a database error being presented.
- Fix: The Notes value of an Agency doesn't appear to be saving.
- Exceptions
- ServiceModel.FaultException in Billing.ProcessButton_Click(): If the server experiences a temporary service delay/disruption at the same time the process button is clicked on the billing window when attempting to process EDI, this exception can occur causing the application to exit. This is resolved by providing a retry/cancel prompt so that the action can be gracefully attempted again.

EditFAQ
- What if a feature that I see in the release notes does not appear to be available to me?
Keep in mind that not all features mentioned in the release notes may be available to you depending on your product selection, license agreement, and service level. These notes include all updates/improvements across all products that utilize the "client45" platform including those features available only through optional and/or add-on products.
However, features/capabilities not included at your current license level is available one way or another through one or more additional add-ons. If you would like to gain access to these additional features/capabilities, please contact your sales associate for more details. The easiest way to initiate this process is by creating a SendSmile and the message will be routed accordingly.
- Is there a way that I can find out more about "what's next"?
Absolutely! Please refer to our ComingSoon page for up to the moment updates regarding what is coming next in RT.
- Why do new releases occur "during the day"?
There are pros and cons to every possible time where we could send out a release. Our experience has demonstrated that doing the updates during the day is in the best benefit of all. There are many reasons for this the first of which is having a full staff on hand to handle any possible issues that sometimes arise is far better than having no one. Given that RT is world-wide, there really isn't a day or time where someone is actively using the product; so no matter what, someone could be impacted if something goes wrong. One also has to remember that even if the update was done "overnight" if someone shows up before people are available at Marketron and there is a critical issue... that issue will have to go unresolved easily three or more hours. This, we feel, is unacceptable. Given how we currently approach this; if an issue arises, it's very possible that given the number of people using the product that an issue is found and resolved by someone else before you experience the issue (power in numbers). The entire staff is on high alert and if any issues do arise, they handled with absolute #1 priority. Given that the update is typically less than a minute, we feel that the tradeoff is worth it.
Note: Keep in mind that not all features mentioned in the release notes may be available to you depending on your product selection, license agreement, and service level. These notes include all updates/improvements across all products that utilize the "client45" platform including those features available only through optional and/or add-on products.
