When You want assistance or a meeting you will be asked to click on the Tools menu in the Main Menu:
Click on the GoToAssist or the GoToMeeting Icon, This will pop up a pane in RadioTraffic to place the 9 digit number that support gives you:
OR
Clicking Ok will open a webpage and start the meeting automatically.
Spot Detail window> adding a "Rescheduled" statusWe added a new status to the Spot detail window. Now after you reschedule spot(s) the status will now be marked as rescheduled.
EC You will also see that this change happens immediately without exiting, and if you look at the bottom of the gif you will see a status of the window working if you are changing a lot of spots.

The setup you choose will remember from log to log, day to day.

Edit2040
- Added
- Introducing the Copy report.
- Introducing the new Projection vs Actual (Discrepancies) report.
- The Contracts window now contains a Prepay? column to better assist in determining which (if any) contracts may have this flag currently activated.
- The SpotDetail window now contains a status bar.
- The log now restores the layout of the reconcile, locked and invoiced logs.
- It is now possible to keep up to date on what is coming soon regarding RT; to so, click on the View main menu from the Dashboard and then click the Coming Soon... entry.
- The Start GoToAssist... menu item has been added to the Dashboard.
- The Start GoToMeeting... menu item has been added to the Dashboard.
- Modified
- Fix: Digital Jukebox automation_system has been renamed to DJB Radio at the request of DBJ Radio.
- Improve: The cart # "in use" message on the Copy window has been modified to only be visible if there is a problem; if everything is "fine", there's no need for a "it's fine" message as this state is the expected behavior/outcome.
- Improve: Essentials now has a Remove tool in the Invalid Copy list of the Log (context menu).
- Improve: The Copy window has been modified so that the title bar displays "Loading..." while opening the window and then displays the current Name of the Copy once loaded; this is instead of an irrelevant number.
- Fix: It should not be possible to select Archive for new/duplicated Copy.
- Fix: The text on the Rotation tab of the Contract window incorrectly states "delete", it should be "trash".
- Improve: As it is the "expected behavior", it doesn't really make sense to highlight the rotation items (copy) in the contract that are valid for the whole rotation run; as such, the green highlight has been removed.
- Improve: It is no longer necessary to "fiddle" with the Options... / Override End Date foolery; the rotations now automatically have this ability enabled allowing for you to "extend" the end date to the maximum allowed end date (end of the last billing cycle of the contract).
- Fix: It is no longer possible to select an end date beyond the last date of the billing cycle of the overall contract as it's not possible to schedule a spot on a log that is beyond the end date of the last billing cycle of the contract (it's not available in the make good list of the log).
- Fix: When using the SHIFT key to Flag invoices as having been emailed without actually sending in the Billing window only for a subset of the complete list (unchecked one or more), the button text continues to incorrectly state *Flag* until you "do something else".
- Improve: It is now possible to "Flag" invoices as printed without actually printing using the SHIFT key to toggle the Process button.
- Fix: Begin of Schedule contracts are incorrectly showing as Approved; should show as Running since an invoice exists and is finalized.
- Fix: When rescheduling a spot on a contract, the O.Target Date isn't updating without having to exit and reload the window.
- Improve: Rescheduled spots that are still Available now display in the SpotDetail window as Rescheduled to better reflect that they have been, well, rescheduled.
- Fix: The count and revenue columns in the contract are displaying the total units/amount for a line that has been completely trashed. This update modifies the display so that these values are left "blank" in the circumstances where the end date column displays N/A.
- Improve: It is now possible to leverage the combo box context menus in Pending, Approved and Running (not yet billed) Contracts.
- Improve: When modifying the commission on an Agency and/or SalesPerson while within a Contract, the associated commission fields are updated to the newly selected associated default (changed) values.
- Improve: Added more status indications for trashing, in-trashing, forcing available, forcing invoice, etc. in the SpotDetail window.
- Fix: SalesPeople should be able to trash pending contracts.
- Fix: The Clock field on the Inventory report doesn't update the columns as expected/intended.
- Fix: The Spread column on the Log is not visible unless the EmailSettings is completed?
- Fix: The Pacing report is not available when the EXP Enhanced Reports add-on is active unless other add-ons are also active.
- Fix: The Goal report is not available when the Sales add-on is active unless other add-ons are also available.
- Fix: The Owner column (instead of Sales Person) should be in the default layout of the Goal (Owner) report.
- Remove: The Start join.me... menu item on the Dashboard has been removed; see above re: GoToAssist/GoToMeeting.
- Improve: The Invalid Contract/Rotation/Copy report now displays the month and day as pat of the column headers.
- Fix: When creating a new piece of Copy, the "in use" check appears to be based on the originally selected Customer not the currently selected (changed) Customer.
- Improve: When changing to a different Customer in the Copy window, it would be nice if the "in use" check would automatically validate without having to modify the cart number.
- Improve: The printed statements have been updated to expand on the available information that is part of what used to be a single entry labeled "Previous Balance"; the information now contains additional details for each transaction that is being carried forward.
- Exceptions
- OverflowException in WideOrbit.Export(): Encountered a situation where an alpha-numeric cart # was incorrectly seen as a numeric-only cart # since it was interpreted as being "scientific notation" (the default computing behavior); the specific example being 20e9. 20e9 is shorthand for 20000000000 which is clearly an invalid cart #. This update modifies the check to filter for "scientific notation"; instead treating the entry as alpha-numeric, the intended result.
- NullReferenceException in Invoices.CreateDetailArea: With the "Co-Op Summarize on Invoices" option enabled (Group), the application crashes when attempting to print Statements with along with Invoices from several years ago.
EditSeptember 2017
Improved: Opening a LogWe have altered the way you access your logs. When you open your log most of you get the Reconciliation Warning popup window asking if you want to go to that log. Clicking no on this will take you to the next log that is not locked.
Now clicking NO opens up the Select Log window, allowing you to scroll through all of your logs and selecting the one you want:
Improved: Contract LinesWe have made some changes to the Contracts window it now reflects the "expected" line item end dates instead of the originally entered end dates:
Before alterations:
After 4 days of spots are removed from the last week:
Confirmation print preview:
No longer have to close and reopen the Contract when canceling a line item of a Contract, the window now immediately reflects the change:
Canceling an entire line now sets the end date to N/A and removes the line(s) completely from the confirmation.
Added: Dropdown Context MenusWe have added a context menu to the Customer, Agency, Owner, Sales Person, Primary Conflict, Secondary Conflict, Revenue Type, Revenue Source, Avail Type, Credit Policy, Country, Tax, Tax-on-Tax, Fee, Voice, Sales Commission, Agency Commission and Category dropdown selection boxes throughout the application,
Context Menu in the
Contracts window...
Context Menu in the
Customer window...
Tools include Open and New.
For those that are more Keyboard Centric we have also added the hotkey ability "Insert" while tabbing through the
contract and
customer windows
EC - I'm cycling through the
Customer,
Agency and
Salesperson fields using TAB hotkey. I also leveraged the ESC hotkey to close window.
Added: Mass Change (Customers)It is now possible to mass change more than a dozen values across multiple customers using the newly introduced
Change tool available in the
Customers window:
On the
Changer window, you can activate any of the available check boxes to enable the available "changer tools" for the values available to be changed. When you activate (check) a check box, the dropdown selection list becomes available. The value selected (including "None") will then be used once you press the
OK button to immediately apply the selected value(s) across all of the previously selected (highlighted)
customers.
Improved: Archived/TrashedWe have added the toggle save ability to
Copy,
Agencies,
AutomationCommands,
Conflicts,
Customers,
LogNotes,
Placement,
Programs,
AvailTypes,
Stations and
Users windows and the
Customer window
Copy tab. And toggle is saved between window launches.
Added: Confirmation EmailsWe now have the ability to customize your
Subject and
Body of
Confirmations you send via email. This text can either be static text you want to send every time or leverage tokens to add a more personal/informative message.
Within
Group>Email>Confirmations is the pane where you place your custom text.
Emails when you use a custom lines without tokens:
Emails when you use a custom lines with tokens:
Added: Release Notes NoticeWe have added a notice to the Dashboard for you to quickly access the Release Notes:
You will get this notice every time we have an update. We want to share with you the new content that we are putting in to RadioTraffic.

- Improve: When canceling a line item of a Contract, the window now immediately reflects the change; no longer requires closing and re-opening the window.

- Fix: The instructions provided when opening a Log state that it should be possible to force close a log (after confirming that the person stated as having it open doesn't actually have it open) does not appear to work for the Administrator role; shouldn't this work for the Administrator?
- Fix: The SalesPerson window with the Sales add-on enabled includes trashed stations in the Goals tab; if a station is trashed, it shouldn't be in this list.
- Fix: The cart # in-use message in the Copy window seems to have "lag" under some conditions and the status bar seems to "get stuck".
- Improve: When a new version is available, the update check is "faster" allowing for the update to occur before the user begins to log in to the application.
- Improve: Renamed the "Rotation Item(s)" window to "Available Copy" in an effort to more accurately describe the content/context of the window.
- Remove: The "Welcome to Marketron" dashboard entry as been on the Dashboard for two months. Everyone who is going to read it has probably done so; those that have not, probably never will.

- Improve: The minimum size of the ReleaseNotes window has been increased in an effort to better support the screen shots that are now being included.

EditAugust 2017
Create new copy from within a ContractWe added the ability to create new copy from within a contract:
You can create a new copy like this from a Pending, Approved, Running, P. Cancel or a Canceled
Contract.
Archive/Trash Customers in A/RWe have made the Contract pane within A/R as close to a twin of the
Contracts pane in
Contracts.
You can Check/uncheck either/both Archived and Trashed under View of the Main Menu:
When you Archive/Un-archive or Trash/Un-trash in A/R or
Contracts those customers will be changed in the other.

Multi Select within Log AvailsWe also added the ability to Multi Select with this window with both the shift and the ctrl keys.
With the Shift Key:
With the ctrl Key:
Log Templates Add-on ImprovementsWe've had quite a few stations in the last few weeks who want to "Trash" things in the Log templates add-on. We have added this function with the ability to checkmark and see trashed items and even un-trash them back.
Reprint ToggleWe have added the feature of reprinting in the Print Contract Confirmations:
Using "Ctrl+R" will toggle the window to refresh with every contract confirmation that you had set up to print.
EC This may be a long list. You will want to Uncheck all of them and just Check the ones you wanted printed again.
California NotaryOur stations, billing in California, informed us about a law changing the way a notary page must be displayed. A box with the addition of a disclaimer must be on all California invoices.
We have added this feature, so when you use CA as the state in either the
Customer or
Agency window your invoices will automatically have the box attached where it is supposed to go.
If you are working in California and want more info. See
Stations, CA Notary.

EditJuly 2017
Welcome to Marketron! You'll find a new
dashboard item with a message stating "Welcome to Marketron!". Clicking in this entry will automatically launch your default web browser landing
here. Please take a moment to read the message from our new CEO. Clicking on this message will automatically flag the item as being completed.
Loop others into a TicketA request asked by many is the ability to add co-workers into a ticket, so that multiple people in your organization can interact with one persons ticket:
In the center bar is a new button "Notifications" this button opens up a new window in the lower half that lets you pick one or more people to add to this ticket.
When you add someone they will now be able to see and respond in the ticket and both/all of you will be able to follow along with the dialog.
Print TicketAnother feature requested by many, is the ability to print tickets.
You can now print and share a fix to a issue with a co-worker. You can now save a reoccurring issue with a walkthrough response. You can now hand off a response from Radio Traffic to a superior that wanted a question asked.
Under File in the Main Menu is Print and Print Preview tabs:
This printout will show all of the important information including the comments:
EC With the print preview feature you can open the entire ticket in another page and look at it in a different and separate setting.
EZ-NET ChangeWhen you click on
EZ-NET icon the
Dashboard, a separate
EZ-NET application will be launched. If you haven't already installed the separate application, clicking on this icon
will automatically launch the installation process by navigating your default web browser to
do so. Please follow those instructions in order to enable
EZ-NET functionality. When prompted, please use the same username/password that you use for RT.
Edit2005
- Modified
- Improve: The printed confirmations have been updated so that the resulting document now takes into account the status of the individual spots/oar for each line item when determining what end date will be presented. The item count and amount for each line also now takes into account the current status of the individual spots/oar (trashed) and will reflect a lowered amount based on the trashed items (if any) exist. If any lines are adjusted (canceled) in any way that results in zero spots/oar, the item is removed from the document (filtered).
- Fix: When attempting to duplicate an archived Contract on an archived Customer, upon pressing the OK button the application presents an error message.
- Fix: If all items on log are removed and the log is saved, it is not possible add any items back onto the log or apply another log to the (now) blank log.
- Fix: It isn't possible to delete a contract line item that is presented in red (invalid) under the circumstance where, due to the nature of the schedule, it is impossible to schedule the spots. It is necessary to be able to delete the line item in order to clear up the issue; so it should be possible to delete the line if this is the particular circumstance.
Edit2004
- Added
- It is now possible to modify who is in the "conversation" for each Ticket.
- It is now possible to print a Ticket.
- Modified
- Fix: When the voice add-on is enabled and active, the Copy window doesn't display the red exclamation when the voice field is blank/nothing as it should.
- Fix: Pressing F1 on the PrintConfirmations window should target the PrintConfirmations page.
- Improve: When the Reports window is in Favorites mode, F1 should target the Favorites section of the documentation.
- Improve: The Dashboard now checks for Ticket information more often.
- Improve: EZ-NET We've learned that a majority of our EZ-NET users only use EZ-NET as part of their day-to-day usage of RT; as such, we are making EZ-NET available as a separate install/executable. This also affords future editions specific to EZ-NET. We are attempting to make this transition as easy as possible by being able to continue to launch EZ-NET from within RT and, if not already installed, begin the installation process using the already familiar launch icon within RT.
EditJune 2017
Invalid CopyBy popular request we have added a new system review notification to the
Dashboard.
This new notification will be on your
Dashboard if you have any invalid
copy related to spots that are currently scheduled on the next to be locked
logs. If you have more than one invalid
copy you will have one notification for each
contract/line presenting the issue. It shows
customer as well as the sales person.
This image shows the owner as well as the sales person:
Clicking on the notification will launch the
contract to be corrected.
If you have more than a few Invalid
copy, for any one day, we put them in a single notification to reduce noise:
Clicking on this notification will take you to that days
log.
EC - The review process does not inspect the spots that still exist on the bump list (not placed); the spot must actually be on the
log.
CTRL+N Log Summary for Log Bump/Make GoodAs requested through the
Forums. We can now go from the log straight to the
Log Summary when bumping or MakeGood a spot by using the Hotkey function of Ctrl+N (Control and the "N" key together) on the Spot.
Automatic Customer Un-ArchiveWe've recently received a sizable amount of feedback similar to the following:
"A sales person came to me wanting to create a new
contract on a
customer that has had no activity long enough causing the
customer to have become archived. I un-archive the
customer so that they can create a new
contract only to have them delay adding the new
contract long enough that the
customer is archived again since it doesn't have anything new attached causing them to return to me asking me to have to un-archive the
customer again."
Last month we improved access to archived
contracts by modifying the
View->
Archived menu item so that it is remembered between launches of the
contracts window.
In this update, we have improved the process further to allow for the creation of a new
contract on a
customer that is currently archived. In this way, the sales person (in the above example) can activate the
View->
Archived toggle; thus being able to see all active and archived
customers. When the archived
customer is selected, the
New button is immediately available. When the
New button is clicked, the following is presented:
Select "Yes" and the new
Contract window will be presented. When this new
contract is saved (using the
OK or
Apply buttons), the
customer will automatically be un-archived. Using the
Cancel button to abort the creation of the
contract will also abort the un-archiving the
customer.
CS - In other words, if you don't actually create a new
contract (regardless of
pending or
approved), there is no reason to automatically un-archive the
customer.
User Usage ReportWe've received multiple requests to add the ability for the
Administrator role to be able monitor/review other peoples usage of the system. To facilitate this we've added a new report called
User Usage. This report details each individual whom has accessed the system along with specific logon date, duration and computer name for each individual session. This report is located under the
Administrative category in
Reports and is only accessible to the
Administrator role.
"Complex Rotations"We understand that there are rare instances where it would be "simpler" if it were possible to directly assign a
rotation to a specific line item of a
Contract. In order to facilitate this, we are introducing the
Activate "Complex Rotations" override. capability that can be enabled on a
customer-by-
customer basis. The ability to activate this capability is limited to the
Administrator role; as this option should only be active for
customers that have "extremely complex" scheduling scenarios. In other words, this override should only be enabled if absolutely necessary as there are sizable downsides in the form of restrictions and possible missing copy confusion introduced when utilizing this feature.
To activate this override for a particular
customer:
- Open a Customer.
- Switch to the Scheduling tab...
- Toggle the Activate "Complex Rotations" override. check box.
When enabled for a particular
customer there will be additional capabilities exposed on the
Contract window related to
rotations and saving it the drop down menu will have the valid
rotations listed.
In the above screen shot, you will see that we begin working with
Contract that has a single line item. This line item is currently configured as a "regular" rotation; meaning that it will utilize any and all rotations within the
Rotation tab in order to determine what
Copy to assign when locking a
Log. We decide that we want to hard-wire the first (in this case "only")
rotation to the first (in this case "only") line item.
CS - This would not be a scenario where we would do it this way... one line and one rotation is effectively already "wired".
We want to draw your attention to the fact that the
Rotation column is blank at the start of this process. We will then double click on the first line item to open it. Once open, you will see a
Rotation field with a combo box containing (assuming you have at least one
rotation on the
contract)
Automatic and
Rotation #1. The default is always
Automatic regardless if the "Complex Rotations" override is enabled on a
customer.
CS - Automatic is the recommended setting; use extreme care and caution if you decide to not use Automatic.
We, in this example, are going to modify the line from
Automatic to
Rotation #1. Upon pressing the
OK button to accept the change, you will see that the
Rotation column now displays
Rotation #1.
Now that we've modified the
contract to use
Rotation #1 for line 1; the
log will now ignore any and all other
rotations on this
contract when working to determine which
copy to assign.
CS - If this
rotation and/or associated
copy become invalid, any and all other
rotations will not be reviewed/evaluated. Additionally,
Rotation #1 will also no longer be able to be used by any other line(s) on the
contract as it is "wired" to line 1 and
cannot be used with any line that is set to
Automatic.
VR - If a
rotation is assigned to a specific line it can only be used by that line. This makes the
rotation assigned to the line invalid for general use of that
contract.
VR - If you create a new rotation it does not actually exist until you hit the Apply button so is not available in the rotation combo box.
Customer "Owner" ConceptThe feature of Owner refers to the person responsible for the day to day operations of an existing customer account and the default sales person on a new contract, where an account may have many sales people tied to it. This feature adds the Owner column to certain reports and ownership can change.
Ticket Comment FreedomWe've improved
Tickets so that is it now possible to open a
Comment on a
Ticket and move them aside and continue to work throughout RT providing the flexibility for you follow along with the details in the
Comment.
"Read-Only" Archived CopyIt has come to our attention that there are cases where changes made to
Copy are not being completely reviewed especially when those changes are made in relationship to
Copy that is
archived. We have improved the
Copy window so that, when
archived, you are no longer able to make changes unless you first un-archive. This takes the form of all fields are now disabled except for the
Status. When you change the
Status field to "OK" you can make modifications; thus removing the issue.
(SALES) Contract Commission modifiable by Sales/Sales Manager rolesWe've received several requests that there be additional flexibility / relaxed rules for when someone with a
Sales role enters a
contract with regards to the
commission.
When the
Sales - Access to Contracts and
Enable Contract Edit Commission % options are enabled, it is now possible for a
user with the
Sales role to modify the
Sales Commission % field on a new/pending
contract.
When this pending
contract is then reviewed by someone who can approve, a blue informational glyph will be placed next to the
Sales Commission % field to quickly identify that the
commission entered does not match the
users default
commission.
Agency New Line Option "Care Of"We recently encountered a situation where we discovered that the formatting of the
Agency name on
Confirmations when the "
Format Agency on New Line on Confirmations" option is active does not follow universally accepted formatting. It was determined that a "C/O" should be added before the
Agency name in order to better represent that the
Agency is the "care of" (responsible party). The same change has also been applied to
Invoices and
Statements, assuming that that "
Format Agency on New Line on Invoices" and/or "
Format Agency on New Line on Statements" (respectively) is/are enabled.
Note: Keep in mind that not all features mentioned in the release notes may be available to you depending on your product selection, license agreement and service level. These notes include all updates / improvements across all products that utilize the "client45" platform including those features available only through optional and/or add-on products.
Edit1998

- Exceptions
- NullReferenceException in Rotation.RatioSimpleButton(): When attempting to use Copy in the ratio editor and this Copy is TFN, the application crashes.
Edit1997
- Added
- The Customer Owner "concept" is now universal across all product SKU's.
- The Dashboard now includes a invalid copy notification related any spots currently on the next unlocked logs that are recognized as being invalid.
- In order to audit general usage of the system by individual users, we've added the User Usage report.
- Modified
- Improve: Modified Tickets so that the "aging" colorizer using a 72 hour range regardless of ticket status (other than closed) as I believe tickets should at least be "refreshed" no later than a 72 hour window.
- Improve: When viewing a Template report, the F1 target page is now for the add-on not the base report.
- Improve: Removed the Close button from the Ratio Editor window.
- Improve: When opening a piece of Copy that is Archived, all fields are now disabled except for the Status.
- Improve: Tickets would be much more useful if we could keep a ticket comment open as we navigate to the related area of RT; right now, you have to close the comment in order to "do anything else".
- Improve: Archived Copy shows as Trashed in the Copy window; it should be presented as Archived.
- Fix: When manipulating a payment the summary is "confused" under some conditions where the payment has already been previously applied to one or more invoices/adjustments.
- Improve: When viewing an archived customer in Contracts, it would be great if we could add a new Contract and upon doing so the Customer would automatically un-archive.
- Improve: It would be nice if we could utilize the CTRL+N hotkey in the bump list of the log. (Extended this to also include the log make good list.)
- Fix: When evaluating whether or not copy is available when creating a rotation on the Contract window there are some circumstances where the New button is available and shouldn't be.
- Improve: The Spot Detail window should have a reasonable minimum size.
- (EZ-NET) Improve: The EZ-NET window should have a reasonable minimum size.
- (Sales) Improve: It would be awesome if a salesperson (user) could modify the sales commission (if enabled) on a Contract that they create.
- Fix: The Print Confirmations window is allowing (for no real reason) the modification of the contract # and shouldn't.
- Fix: The tab order on the Ticket window is out-of-order; when pressing the tab key on the Summary field, it should move focus to the Description field.
- Fix: The Export menu item is available on the Spot Detail window regardless of whether or not the Export to Excel+ add-on is available and the menu shouldn't be if the add-on is not available.
- Improve: Removed the Close button from the Spot Detail window.
- Fix: The Print Invoices window is allowing (for no reason) the modification of the invoice # and shouldn't.
- Fix: When applying a log to another log, the available time and unit counts are reflecting what was already utilized on the log being used as the source for the information causing the available amount to be reflected incorrectly when populating the log. As a temporary work around, saving the log and reloading it clears this issue up.
- Removed: The Close button on several windows has been removed as there are (in many cases) several other ways to close the window.
- Fix: When pressing the F1 key on the Customer when while focused on the Copy tab, two different browser windows/tabs are launched.
- Fix: The "Inactive" entry in the Status field on the Customer window should be "Archived".
- Fix: The Status column in the Contracts window for the customer list should show a customer as Archived instead of Inactive when included using the View->Archived tool being activated.
- Fix: When enabling the "Agency New Line" option on Confirmations, Invoices and/or Statements, the second line (agency) should be preceded by a "C/O" according to a few details that have recently come to light.
- Fix: The Customer window is currently resizable (for no apparent reason) and shouldn't be (unless there is a reason).
- Fix: The log automatically executes automatic placement for a user that is of the Traffic Read-Only role; this should not happen since this user, by definition, is read-only.
- Fix: Removed the "Apply Payment" and "Apply Transaction" button dues to synchronization issues and the fact that they are completely redundant.
- Exceptions
- NullReferenceException in Copy.CreateReportHeaderArea(): When attempting to print / print preview a piece of Copy that has the end date set to "TFN", the application displays a "print error".
- InvalidCastException in PrintConfirmations.ToggleSelection(): When using the spacebar to toggle the check box on one of the items in the list, the application crashes.

- ServiceModel.CommunicationException in Tickets.FilterSimpleButton_Click(): When attempting to filter for EVERYTHING in Tickets, the application crashes.
- InvalidCastException in Rotation.OpenCopy(): When adding a piece of copy that is set to TFN to the rotation and then attempting to open said piece of copy from with the rotation list the application crashes.
- NullReferenceException in Contract.SetEnabledState(): When attempting to open an existing Contract and a Retry/Cancel is presented at the point where the actual contract information is retrieved and the Cancel button is chosen, the application crashes.
EditMay 2017
ARCHIVED CONTRACTSWe've made several enhancements to the
Contracts window related to whether or not a
customer has
archived contracts and how these
archived contracts are included.
First, we've made it easier to "know" whether or not a
customer has any archived
contracts. There is now an added optional "Archived" column that can be added to the
customer list. This column presents how many
contracts the
customer has that are currently
archived.
The second is related to actually including
archived contracts in the visible list for each
customer (in the
Contracts window).
As you know, when the
Archived option is enabled (under the
View main menu), the
archived contracts are included. When this option is not enabled,
archived contracts are "hidden". The improvement is that this option is now remembered between opening and closing of the
Contracts window; meaning that if you have it enabled when you close the
Contracts window and reopen it later, the
archived contracts will automatically be included. Please note that this will "slow" things down since more information is being loaded for each
customer.
Additionally, we've modified slightly the visual difference between
archived and
trashed customers and
contracts in the
Contracts window.
The
archived customers and
contracts no longer have a line drawn through them and are now presented as "faded".
Edit1976
- Modified
- Fix: In the Contracts window, the Status column in the customer list shows archived customers as "inactive"; it should show "archived".
- Fix: When reversing an invoice that exists on a customer that is archived; the customer should automatically un-archive.
- Fix: When reversing an invoice attached to a contract that has been archived; the contract should automatically un-archive.
- Fix: The Copy window doesn't appear take into account TFN Copy when evaluating the automatic cart number assignment to determine the next available cart number.
- Fix: When modifying a cart number in the Copy window, TFN Copy isn't taken into account when attempting to determine if the cart number is in use by another Customer.
- Fix: Due to recent changes to reduce duplicate options being visible in the Group Options tab, several options are no longer visible that should be.
Edit1975
- Modified
- Fix: The Feedback main menu Peer Forums tool on the Dashboard incorrectly launches the default browser targeting the documentation instead of the Peer Forums.
- Fix: When trashing one rotation the length, start time and end time columns in the Rotation list are presented in an "odd" manner.
- Fix: The Tax and Finance Charge adjustments are available when the respective add-ons aren't enabled.
- Improve: Renamed the "Reconcile" window presented during log reconciliation to the more meaningful "As-Play Fail".
Edit1973
- Added
- Modified
- Improve: Archived customers and contracts now show as "faded" instead of "crossed-out".
- Improve: The View Archived and Trashed menu items in the Contracts window are now "sticky"; meaning they now are remembered between launches.
- Fix: The items in the Group Options tab do not appear to sort properly especially when certain add-ons are enabled.
- Fix: There are several entries in the Group Options tab that are duplicated.
- Fix: (EZ-NET) The tickets created automatically through the usage of the EZ-NET "refetch" beta feature are causing issues when they are "reopened".
- Fix: (Sales) Due to changes made for the Contracts window related to archived contracts it no longer makes sense to "fade" customers in the Contracts window for customers that are owned by other salespeople.
- Fix: When clicking on the available links from within the Release Notes window, the default web browser launches as expected; however, the content of the window also changes and a "scripting" error occurs.
Edit1970
- Modified
- Improve: The length of copy on a new line of a contract now defaults to "nothing" if the customer currently has no existing active copy.
- Improve: When a Ticket is set to a Status of Resolved or Completed, the Resolution determines the type of resolution the Resolved or Complete status represents. There appears to have been some confusion as to what some of these Resolution values mean; so the Ticket window now contains a more verbose explanation to what the current Resolution represents located just to the left of the values between the Description and Comment areas of the window.
- Improve: It would seem to make sense that the Customer window would automatically switch to the Copy when opened from the Contracts or EZ-NET windows since the most likely next action to be taken is related to managing Copy.
- Fix: The Trashed column in the Salespeople window seems unreasonably wide.
- Fix: When opening Salesperson window if the SalesAddOn is not available there is a "huge" amount of blank space to the right of the fields that seems "distracting".
- Fix: When printing invoices along with statements in Billing and the Enable Duplex (Blank Page) on Invoices setting is enabled in the Group Options tab under the Documents.Invoices section, the statements are printing in such a way that the duplex value is "confused". It should honor the duplex setting and automatically insert the blank page when necessary bringing it in line with how the invoices are printing when this option is enabled.
- Fix: When initially opening the Station window, the down button related to the Log Placement Weight Levels values on the Schedule tab is not being enabled as it should requiring that you click on another entry and then back to the first in order to get the button activated.
- Improve: The "Late Notice" window should better support line feeds (paragraphs) in order to improve overall readability.
- Fix: (Tax) There is a minor display issue with the Tax window red exclamation(s) being displayed with undesired "artifacts".
- Fix: (Canada) The Business Number position, size and layout on the Station window doesn't appear to be displaying in a consistent manner with the rest of the window.
- Improve: (India) The India add-on should include the features of the Tax add-on automatically included even if not separately activated separately as it is an integral requirement for operating in India.
- (India) There is a minor display issue with the TaxOnTax window red exclamation being displayed with undesired "artifacts".
- Fix: (India) The Tax and TaxOnTax fields are not displaying correctly in the Customer window.
- Improve: The "open" glyph for the Open tool on many windows throughout RT has minor display issues with some skins.
- Fix: (Sales) Found a circumstance where it appears that the Sales Manager or Sales role are unable to duplicate a Contract under conditions where the, for example, Traffic role is able to do so.
- Exceptions
- ObjectDisposedException in Dashboard.RefreshTodoCheckEnvironment(): Under just the right conditions (timing), when the application is checking the Microsoft Windows environment settings at the exact time that the application is being shut down this exception occurs.
- ArgumentOutOfRangeException in ContractLineItem.StartDateEditValueChanged(): If a start date of 1/2/9999 (or greater) is used as the start date for an ContractLineItem, this exception occurs.
- NullReferenceException in Contract.HandleBillingCycleInvoiceTypeValues(): After reviewing this exception, I'm left with the assumption that it was encountered due "Retry/Cancel" window being presented just at the right time during the loading process and the Cancel button was selected. If this is the case, it is possible that the data for the Billing Cycle and/or Invoice Type were not available and, as such, could cause this exception.
Edit1961
Edit1960
- Added
- Modified
- Improve: When creating a new line in a Contract, the first line will default the copy length based on the history of the customer and the subsequent lines will default the copy length to the length of the first spot-based line. If no existing copy history for the customer, the default will remain at existing default of 30 seconds.
- Improve: When pressing the F1 key in the Billing window, the documentation target page now takes into account which tab is currently selected.
- Improve: When pressing the F1 key on the Agency window while the cursor (focus) is on the EDI# field the target page will be related to EDI.
- Improve: Pressing the F1 key on the Send a Smile and Send a Frown windows no longer goes to the same target page; a separate documentation entry has been created for each of these.
- Fix: Several "lists" are not updating automatically if you create a new item and use the Apply button before the OK button.
- Fix: Grammar on Dashboard related to having only one ticket should be is not are.
- Fix: The Dashboard window does have a reasonable minimum size.
- Fix: The Billing window does not have a reasonable minimum size.
- Fix: When creating a new customer, the Billing tab contains a blue "informational" glyph that serves zero purpose for our Essentials clients.
- Fix: It is should not be possible to add additional lines to a contract that canceled/aborted.
- Fix: It is should not be possible to make any changes to a contract that has been aborted (canceled before it ever started).
- Fix: Reverse finalized invoices that are of the Begin of Schedule billing cycle creates significant issues and confusion.
- Fix: When modifying a debit adjustment where the salesperson (for whatever reason) is missing, the OK button is available when changing the amount and shouldn't be since the salesperson issue hasn't been resolved (red exclamation visible).
- Fix: When switching the period from something to "Custom Dates" and doing nothing else but clicking the Reload button on the Inventory report, no data is returned. This was due to the date(s) not being modified any further; in other words, changing from "This Week" to "Custom Dates" without actually modifying the date(s) would cause the issue.
- Fix: The end date is being set "strangely" when adding a new line to a contract that as "long expired".
- Fix: In EXP, when bumping all spots in an avail and the avail contains one or more fill spots, the application crashes.
- Exceptions
- InvalidCastException in InventoryReport.FilterReportNew(): Now that items that have a "None" value in Revenue Source, Revenue Type or Sales Person are being included in the Inventory report; there are some circumstances where it causes the filtering to crash. This is resolved in this update.
EditApril 2017
Edit1954
- Modified
- It is now possible to (optionally) utilize TFN on Copy that will be used for MUSTFILL.
- It is now possible to (optionally) "break the linkage" between "linked" Contracts by prepending the exclamation ("bang") symbol to the estimate number. Note: This symbol will not be printed on the resulting confirmation(s).
- Modified log editor to include "additional details" in the summary info when attempting to place a spot into an avail that would violate the defined scheduling rules. These include:
- If a conflict violation, the first spot found that produces the conflict.
- If a daypart violation, the start/end times that would be valid.
Edit1953
- Added
- It is now possible to modify the Estimate # field after a Contract has been approved and/or completed. (NOTE: This change might be temporary; we'll need to monitor this closely over the short term to decide one way or the other.)
- Modified
- Fixed an issue where the "start date" of a line item (one in the far past) was being shown a being "more recent" which resulted in the start date being greater than the end date preventing the line from being able to be modified in any manner due to the error condition created.
Edit1952
- Added
- Added support for TFN end dates on Copy.
- Added ability to add new line items to approved contracts ("within reason").
- Added optional Estimate # to the Invalid Contract/Rotation/Copy report.
- Modified
- Modified Contract window summary so that existing items in the contract aren't doubled when initially opening the contract.
- Modified the User window so that the permissions are automatically cleared if the account logon (check box) is removed.
- Fixed issue with "archive" not being in data result from server for ListEditorAsync base window; exception occurring when right clicking on any of the items in the Agency, Automation Command, Conflict, Log Note, Placement, Program, Station and User lists.
- Modified the "Gathering Invoices" (EXP) window so that it prints in the order displayed (instead of by customer/invoice#).
- Fixed issue where Export to Excel+ being enabled for EXP not allowing for an Invoice to be exported directly within the Invoice window.
- (EXP) Fixed issue with Print Statements not allowing check/uncheck with the mouse.
- Modified the import so that min/max is determined instead of sorting the whole list; it's possible that sorting could have unintended side affects. Determining min/max accomplishes that same result without introducing other potential problems.
- Fixed issue where, in some (rare?) circumstances, the start time would end up being greater than the end time when importing from Counterpoint; taken care of by sorting the subset result set before getting the first/last entries.
- Fixed issue with "archived" column not existing in ListEditor when right clicking (context menu) on an item.
- Modified Copy (list) editor so that the New (menu, context and button) tools are not available if no Customers currently exist (new system).
- Modified list editor (async) to support "Archive" (in addition to "Trash") - implemented for Copy. Further adjusted so that the archived entries are no longer drawn through with a line (which is what delete does) and now includes a prepended folder icon to represent that it's archived in addition to the Status column reflecting "Archived".
- Fixed issue with Tools->Approve not available when initially duplicating a contract.
- Modified so that "auto archive" is now actually automatic (when logging in); currently limited to running once per every 4 hours.
- Fixed problem where start date could be extended way beyond contract range when using duplicate of a line item on a running contract.
- Fixed issue where a role that doesn't have access to one station tries to create a new line on a contract and only has access to a single station causes the new line to have a blank station that can't be modified.
- When switching to the Projection tab in Contracts, the column headers are displaying internal db fields names; modified so that they show friendly placeholder values while loading.
- A contract line item is now restricted to an "annual" range; if needing to go beyond an annual period, please duplicate the line.
- The Rotation Assignment menu item in the Log is now visible only when available in an effort to reduce/remove confusion experienced by XP->EXP conversion.
- Fixed typos in message presented as part of the Exception Information window.
- Fixed issue with Inventory report not playing nicely with the Revenue Source, Revenue Type and/or Sales Person columns containing "None".
- (EZ-NET) Updated to support changes made to the white-boxed CounterPoint software on USRN and Sun.
- Fixed misnamed (copy-paste type) for the Revenue Projection "Net" report (was showing as titled "Gross").
- Fixed issue where changes made to remove Tools Approve/Cancel making it so that approve was not available when combined with revising an existing contract.
- If at least one line on a contract contains a rate, remove "None" from Billing Cycle and Invoice Type; conversely, if all items are modified to no longer contain a rate, add back "None" (if available).
- The off-air revenue button is no longer available if billing cycle and/or invoice type is "None".
- The rate field on a contract line item (spot) is no longer available if billing cycle and/or invoice type is "None".
- Modified Settings window to launch items using a single click (or touch) - brining up to date with the Dashboard only requiring a single click.
- Modified access modifier for the context menu on contract line items to show the Delete tool to be CTRL (not SHIFT) for consistency.
- Removed "redundant questions" related to placing spots on the log that violate scheduling restrictions (rules); meaning all that it now takes to violate (force) placement is to utilize the shift key - all questions are no longer asked.
- When adding a line to a contract, the "summary" is now updated to reflect the additional spots/OAR.
- An added line to a contract now shows as "safety orange" in color. When canceling a line on a contract, the Qty and Revenue no longer change; making the numbers the same as when you close and reopen the contract. Instead, the trashed count column updates as expected. Additionally, the overall summary now updates to reflect the cancel action taking place; giving the (again) same result as when you close and reopen the contract.
- Modified so that the Tools->Cancel and Approve menu items are only visible "independently" based on the status of the contract.
- Fixed issue with rotation up/down buttons not working as expected (visually) highlighting rotation line items. When two rotations exist, the up would be enabled when the down should and vice versa when the second one was highlighted (backwards).
- When adding a new line item to a running contract, the start and end dates are now restricted to more appropriate and reasonable dates based on logs, invoices and overall contract length (billing cycle).
- Modified Export Statement button to be available regardless of EXP (if Export to Excel+ is enabled). Also fixed issue related the Export Statement button not being enabled/disabled in the same manner as the Print Statement button.
- Modified so that the line(s) added to an approved contract no long highlight in red (error); instead, they are shown in construction orange.
- When adding a new line to an existing approved contract, the new line will automatically be approved/populated when saving the contract.
- Ability to set billing cycle and/or invoice type to 'None' on an approved contract available if you are an Administrator - reason being that only Administrator role should be able to delete; which setting a contract that wasn't "None" to "None" will cause the invoices to be deleted.
- No longer allow for billing cycle or invoice type to be set to 'None' on contracts that approved. Modified so that if the billing cycle / invoice type is "None" on an existing approved contract and the ability to select "None" is no longer available, gracefully handles that is was set to this previously. Also modified to handle "Begin of Schedule" in the same manner.
- Added pending print and email confirmation notifications to the dashboard.
- Exceptions
- NullException in Contract: Gracefully handle of exception when attempting to right click on a Contract that contains zero line items (highlighted in red).
- Win32Exception in Invoice.Load(): Under some circumstances Windows reflects an invalid permission response when attempting to send the TAB key to the current window; it's possible that the window focus has changed to another window, however, no additional details have been able to be determined.
- InvalidCastException in Log.MustFillPlacement_Action(): Unable to reproduce and we have no further details; just making changes in an effort to prevent the specific exception from being able to occur in the future (hardening).
EditMarch 2017
Edit1941
- Added
- Modified
- When undoing the cancelation of a canceled Contract, off-air revenue entries now "un-trash" in the same manner as spots.
- The Revenue Projection (12 Month Gross) and Revenue Projection (12 Month Net) were not completely including the projected numbers beyond the initial three months; it appears, in some cases, it was duplicating one of the columns across the rest of the columns while in other cases the additional (9 month) columns were blank. This has been corrected.
- Modified Confirmations so that any additional (not selected) Confirmations are automatically included in the circumstance where the estimate number matches one of the included Confirmations.
- Modified the result set of Confirmations so that the sorted result is what was received as part of the query instead of forcing being sorted "by Customer".
- (Owner) The "Owner" add-on has been modified as to no longer require any other prepreq add-on(s) in order to function; making the "Owner" add-on completely independent of other add-on(s).
- (Report Template) Fixed an issue that prevented trashing of a Report Template based report unless another add-on (prereq) was also active. Removed the requirement for the prereq as this was a left over from a prior version.
- (Report Template) Fixed an issue where an Administrator Assistant (when enabled) could not trash a Report Template based report unless they were also an Administrator (which is not possible).
- Exceptions
- InvalidCastException in SpotPlacement.ForceTrash(): When attempting to force the status to trash for a target spot/OAR, the application would generate this exception. This has been resolved.
- WebException in SendFrown.Send(): If network connection is lost/broken at the exact instance that an frown is attempting to be sent to the server, the application throws this exception. This has been improved by adding a retry/cancel mechanism.
Edit1940
- Added
- (EXP) Added ability to force bump and force OAR in the "Spot Placement" window; better supporting trashed spots/OAR entries.
- Modified
- Corrected issue with EzAutomation Log export failing due to hours/breaks/entries special formatting rules being applied.
- Changed the word "order" to "contract" in the Rotation window warning related to start/end date restrictions.
- Exceptions
- DirectoryNotFoundException in Station.AutomationLogPathButton(): The error message reads, "Could not find special directory 'My Documents'." This has been modified to no longer generate an exception; instead it now presents an error message stating the issue and aborts the process until it can be resolved by fixing whatever is wrong at the OS / user rights/permission level.
- NullReferenceException in Permissions(): Under some circumstances (timing), it appears that it was possible that permissions being determined were failing due the permissions not being available. This has been corrected.
- (Revise) InvalidCastException in Contract.Load(): When attempting to Revise a Contract that has already "completed" but before the effective final date of the last billing cycle of the Contract has expired. This has been corrected. Additional details: Depending on options configured, the End Date of the previous Contract would potentially display "?????".
EditFebruary 2017
Edit1939
- Modified
- It is now possible to Split a Contract that has "completed" but hasn't yet crossed the end date of the effective final date of the last billing cycle of the Contract.
- (Revise) The Auto Archive tool in the Contracts window now handles revision chains.
- On some workstations the Contract window as incorrectly sizing the line items causing the New and Off Air Revenue buttons to be not visible. This update attempts to resolve this issue.
- The Contracts, AR and Tickets windows can no longer be sized below a set minimum height/width.
Edit1938
- Modified
- The overall concept of "Correction Mode" is being removed from this version going forward; in other words, it's a term that is meaningless and doesn't apply to the product. From this point forward if you can make changes, you can make changes. There isn't anything to be "activated" to enable these changes to take place.
- It is now possible to choose "Expiring" as a range in the Contract report.
- (Report Templates) The "Template" column is no longer visible in the Reports window if Report Templates add-on is not available as it is meaningless without the add-on.
- The Tickets window has been enhanced in such a way that, regardless of product license, is fully enabled with all enhancements.
Edit1937
- Modified
- The Automatic Archive tool in the Contracts window has been modified to review Customer accounts further an only archive if the following conditions are true:
- No existing active contracts.
- Balance is $0.00.
- Customer is more than 365 days old.
- Last contract to finish did so over 365 days ago.
- Last payment/adjustment applied to the Customer occurred more than 365 days ago.
- Additionally, the Automatic Archive tool has been modified to only archive Contracts that have been completed/paid for at least 60 days.
- The Automatic Archive tool has been extended to include review/archive of Copy. Copy will archive based on the "recycle" timeframe defined in the Group settings. Of note though is whenever this value is set to 0 or -1, the Copy archive check utilizes 60 days.
- It is now possible for the Traffic role to take advantage of "correction mode" for Contracts that do not have any Invoices already finalized.
- It is no longer possible to "undo cancel" of an approved Begin of Schedule contract.
- In the circumstance where, at one time, there were more than one station in the system and payments were entered as "Any" for the station field where one or more stations were then trashed... opening a payment would display the station as being incorrect since "Any" was no longer available (due there now only being a single station. The system now takes this situation into account.
- The Statement tab in the AR window no longer allows a pivot date prior to 1/1/1753.
- (EZ-NET) Texas State Networks was inadvertently dropped from the supported networks in the Tools/Options window making it impossible to update the username/password for this network. This has been corrected.
Edit1936
- Added
- (Sales) It is now possible to activate an option to BCC the sales person of record for each and every Invoice that is sent via email so that they may be "kept in the loop" regarding Invoices being sent to their Customers.
- Modified
- The Log report has been modified to take into account (include) spots that have been reconciled but not invoiced due to the billing cycle and/or invoice type being set to None.
EditJanuary 2017
Edit1935
- Modified
- (EmailMyTimes) The ability to configure the EmailMyTimes email on the Customer window was not available in all circumstances where it should be. This update resolves this issue.
Edit1934
- Modified
- The "calculator" available through "Ratio" button on the Rotation window has been modified to remove unnecessary "extras".
- (Goals) Recent changes to the Sales add-on caused an issue with the Goals add-on being available no longer presenting the Goals reports as the Goals add-on is "no longer available"; however, we want to still make it available for those that had it before it being deprecated (thus being grandfathered). This update resolves this issue.
Edit1933
- Added
- It is now possible to filter Unit (Avail) on the Log.
- It is now possible to "flag" Confirmations as having been printed by utilizing the shift key to toggle the button.
- Modified
- (EmailMyTimes) In an effort to better support the usage scenarios of EmailMyTimes, separating the ability to use and the actual actively enabling it. What this means is that it will be possible to configure/manage the EmailMyTimes settings while it is not actually active (meaning it doesn't actually send anything when you lock the Log). In other words, you can configure the settings across your Customers, run Reports, etc. and after reviewing, activate the actual sending of the emails when locking the Log. This also means that you can temporarily suspend the usage of EmailMyTimes if necessary if the need should arise where you need to review all of these related settings.
- Fixed issue with the SpotDetail window not presenting the right information/capabilities.
- The Split tool in Contracts is no longer marked as (*BETA*).
- Removed "odd" lines being visible under some specific circumstances from the Copy item context menu in the Rotation window.
- (Report Templates) If you have the Report Templates add-on and do not have MyViews; Reports will have MyViews enabled as part of the Report Templates functionality.
- Exceptions
- NullReferenceException in Contracts.FilterReport(): In the rare circumstance that you have a situation where the Contracts window contains zero customers and you click on the Projection tab, the application crashes. This has been resolved.
Edit1929
- Reverted
- Removed "Charts"; reverted to the "Todo" entries.
Edit1928
- Added
Added "Charts" to the Dashboard (replacing the "Todo" entries).- Added color-coded "aging" to Tickets.
- Added optional "Estimate #" column to AR.
- Modified
- Inventory report has been modified to allow for a few columns to be manipulated (group by, sort, etc.).
- The Delete tool on a Contract line item is no longer visible unless in correction mode and the shift key is pressed.
- Fixed an issue with Debit Adjustments not showing the correct revenue type when re-opened.
- The "print statement" check box on the Customer window was incorrectly being set to true under certain conditions.
- Fixed issue with, under certain rare conditions, rounding of agency commission not matching between Confirmation and Invoice.
- Corrected issue where "None" was incorrectly available as an "Invoice Type" when activating "correction mode" on a Contract.
EditPrior
